i think this song is about a soldier that doesnt agree with the war and doesnt want to be there. he didnt have a chocie but to go becuase he got drafted. thats where this part comes in [I am trying to see I am trying to believe This is not where I should be I am trying to believe] meaing that hes trying to see and beleive the reason why the soldiers are over in irag and fighitng.He also thinks he shouldnt be there. i also think the title should be in qoutations marks. like "the good soldier" because all soldiers have the impression of being good becuase they serve our country..but how can this soldier be good if he doesnt exactly agree with the war hes fighting in.. does anyone else catch my drift?? |

what i think its about has nothing to with the main point on the album [well it's happening never planned on this you've got something I need kind of dangerous and I'm losing control I'm not used to this what you want from me I'm not used to this] MEANING:SOMEONE WENT BACK TO THEIR EXLOVER.HE?SHE NEVER PLANNED ON IT&KNOWS ITS DANGEROUS TO GO BACK.HE/SHE DOENST WANT BUT IS LOSING CONTROL. [I can't shut it off this thing I've begun and it's hard to tell just where it's coming from and it's hard to see what I'm capable of and it's hard to believe just, what I've become] MEANING:SINCE HE/SHE WENT BACK TO THE EXLOVER THEY CANT STOP IT.THEY CANT BELEIVE THEY DID AND THEY DONT WHY. [I can swallow it down keep it all inside I define myself by how well I hide I feel it coming apart well, at least I tried] MEAING:HE/SHE IS DEALING WITH IT WITHOUT SAYING HOW THEY REALLY FEEL. HE/SHE FEELS THE REALATIONSHIP COMING APART,YET AGAIN AND IS SAYING AT LEAST I TRIED TO KEEP IT FROM COMING UNDONE. [I can win this war by knowing not to fight if I take it all back someway, somehow if I knew back then what I know right now] MEANING:COUPLE ARE FIGHTING BUT HE/SHE WONT SAY ANYTHING.HE/SHE WANTS TO TAKE THIS WHOLE REALATIONSHIP BACK AGAIN.AND WISHES THEY KNEW THAT IT WOULD FALL APART AGAIN SO THEY WOULDNT HAVE CAME BACK TO THE EXLOVER IN THE FIRST PLACE. does what im saying make any sense?? does anyone else think that this song is about regret? |

| one of my favorites. i love how it sounds like glass is being broken in the song. but i think this song is kinda obvious as to what it means. i think it means that this person's loved one is going downhill. and the person cant stand to see that person go downhill because that person was once there.so that person is gonna do anything they can to make sure that the person doesnt go down hill... | |

this song is great. my first thought on this song was this is about a realtionship..that ended because the girl cheated nad was lair. he calls her a lair..and whore and she feeds on the hurt she caused him to have... if that makes any sense... |
