I think this song is simply about loneliness. When you wish for someone to come home to. When you just feel incomplete without a (girl/boy)friend. "And I Take back all the things I said to make you feel like that And I Just wish that I didn't feel like there was something I missed And I Take back all the things I said to you" Maybe this part is about quitting friendships or relationships, you know, when you got betrayed by the ones you love and you take back all the nice things you said to them. Or you take back all the bad things you said to them when you were angry and broke up to get them back, could be both. I guess it depends on interpretation and the situation you're personally in at the moment. Anyways, this song is totally awesome. Depressing but awesome. |

i think this song is about someone who is lying to himself saying he doesnt need anyone, although he really does. hes been disappointed by his friends or just other people around him and himself. he thought itd be easy to maintain friendships but is really wasnt. maybe hes even afraid of relationships/friendships cause hes afraid of doing something wrong again (like when you have social anxiety) so he ended them, and no one wants to believe the things he said (that he wants to be alone). maybe he even hurt people saying that. he knows he probably wont be able to find any friends so, to block all disappointment in the first place, hes lying to himself that hes better off on his own, anyway. like in the video. i can totally relate to this song cause it exactly describes the situation ive been in all my life :( |

This song describes exactly how I feel about that one girl I met in elementary school when I was 7 (I am 17 now). I immediately fell in love with her, but I never really noticed cause I was too afraid cause she was so unbelievably beautiful I felt like a fool next to her so I kinda ran away from her. Later at another school we met again and she started talking to me. She was the only one to talk to me at that school, all the others rejected me. I had to go to another school after a while, though and leave her. We lost contact.
