This song has a nice melody, but the lyrics are really sad to me. It sounds like the singer is mocking the anchorless person, especially in the first lines "They called here to tell me that you're finally dying, through a veil of childish cries." I don't know.... It's just sad |

wow- nobody has posted on this in a long time... I just recently discovered the Weakerthans for myself, so I just wanted to say that they are most excellent. My favorite line is "How I don't know what I should do with my hands when I talk to you. How you don't know where you should look, so you look at my hands." I can see that really happening betyween two people in some awkward moment and I think it's very ironic. |
