| This song certainly describes how I feel about Berlin. Once you get there it is like an ordinary European metropolis, but once you start walking around it, a certain likeness forms inside you, you begin to fall in love with everything in this city, even a girl you meet. The wall is used as a metaphor to show every foreigners' feelings of how one of their part belongs to this city, Berlin, a city in which they have spent few days, and the other which belongs to where they hail from. You become unsure of what your heart tells you. I bet that every person that have visited Berlin feels like this, like they are in a state of limbo. | |
