I honestly cannot get into this song. I mean, it's not terrible for most bands but for U2 it is. It's really just decent. I'm hoping the album will be amazing, just because of one okay single doesn't mean the album will be disappointing. I'm guessing brand, new and friends are seperated with commas becuase he's saying her firends care about really material things like brands and new stuff and he can't stand them and is having second thoughts about her.
