This song is brilliant. But why are you guys hating on Echo and the Bunnymen. Not as famous as The Doors, granted but a damn good band and their cover sounds almost identical to the original.
Also, for those of you who have never heard of Echo and the Bunnymen, where have you been? One of the best, most inspriring bands ever and not underground or like a little indie band or anything...How can you claim to be music fanatics if you haven't even heard of a classic like Echo and the Bunnymen? |

God I love this song. But isn't it "Girl, you're so groovie"? Not "Girlie so groovie". I listened to it live, that's what it sounded like. And listening to the Studio Version, I'm pretty sure. But either way, awesome. |

I think it's just about celebrating destruction and death in general because we know that it's bound to happen - you can't really prevent it. So I think it's just about accepting the world for how it is instead of having to worry about every little thing that goes wrong, they're just embracing it. |

It's not all that obvious it's about the music business, dude. whatever and dead have good points. It could be about any number of things. But I do love this song. Still can't figure out what it's about but maybe it's just words. As a songwriter/singer, that's sometimes how it works. You don't plan what a song is going to be about, words just kind of come to you while you're strumming on the guitar or beating on the drums or playing on the bass or piano. Sometimes it's just your mind that makes it for you. |

I love this song. But I gotta say, The Bleeding Heart Show and All For Swinging You Around are still my favorites. I'm so excited that they're playing at Coachella!!!!! It'll be awesome! |
