The Who – Won't Get Fooled Again Lyrics 17 years ago
It's about the cyclic nature of revolutions and politics in general, but more importantly it's going to be unbelievably amazing to play in Rock Band.

Stevie Wonder – Superstition Lyrics 17 years ago
This song is about putting more value in things which can be proven then in some guy that probably molests children talking about an invisible narcissist. It advocates learning, because if you don't know what's going on around you, if you don't know what you're talking about, you will suffer.

WOO SCIENCE.

But mostly, yeah, it's about Mr. Wonder being AMAZINGLY talented.

Colin Meloy – Lazy Little Ada Lyrics 17 years ago
I love the sleepy tone of this song. From what I can tell, it's about the narrator being in love with a privileged girl. She has money, so she can afford to spend time lolling and playing croquet.
The narrator simply wants to have a short time with this beautiful velvet creature, but Ada doesn't want to be with him because it would mean a disturbance of her life. "Too lazy to lay her down."

This piece is only available on the Sound the Hare Heard compilation.

The Decemberists – The Perfect Crime #1 Lyrics 17 years ago
This song has a much more energetic sound then anything on Crane wife, and really sounds a lot better to me then perfect crime 2. A lot of that is probably just the fact that it has a lot of jazz sound at the end and I play trombone, but it really should be available outside the Starbucks release.

Utada Hikaru – Simple and clean - Backwards Lyrics 17 years ago
There isn't really a backwards version, but just download the free audacity player, open the non-remix slow version of the song(end theme), highlight the whole song, and select Effect > reverse. It's creepy.

Conspiracy creepy.

DENVER AIRPORT creepy.
Okay, not nearly that creepy, but still weird.

Utada Hikaru – Sanctuary ~Opening Version~ Lyrics 17 years ago
Backwards, it includes "I need more affection then you know," "so many ups and downs," "I need true emotion," and right at about two minutes from the end "I thought I was going home."

It's really a great song, and when it plays at the opening of Kingdom Hearts 2 it lets you know right away that huge, epic changes are coming, but the unbridled and unmeasurable awesome will stay. I still don't really like the backwards gimmick thing, but it is kind of cool playing the thing in reverse in audacity to be sure that really is what's being said. Woo not secret messages.

It's fairly clear that the song itself is about how she feels safe around her significant other. "All I fear means nothing."
