This has got to be my favorite album of all time. But besides that, I must point out that in the song, the lyrics are echoed (presumably by Tommy) for the "You didn't hear it" part. Directly after the lead vocals starts each line, he echoes it in a first person tone, so it ends up as "You didn't hear it/I heard it". This is very important to the storyline, because the murder is the last thing he hears/sees. |

samwalton, that's not what he's saying. He's saying that this song is not about sex or drugs, as people generally judge every rock/metal song, because a few singles are. This one is not about sex or drugs, I agree that it's about a girl that wants to be with him but won't admit it... for god's sake, look at the lyrics. |

I can agree with the Dave and Lars interview, I just watched it and can see how you can get that.
However, I can also agree with Dave's saying it's a love song. Possibly a couple that goes through a rough patch, by the chorus. |

Haha, you all make me laugh. The metaphor "Sunshine in a bag" is referring that times will improve. He's happy, but not feeling glad, the future is coming on, it means that life sucks now, but will get better. You just need to understand the real meaning of the metaphors first. |
