its everything I sow ...not saw...I siteed the lyrics off teh cover of the cd so its correct.... when I first heard it I saw a relationship that was in trouble due to either the other person pulling away or other stressful outside factors and how he wants things to work and how he wants to be loved too...and how she is (or might be) selfish and thinks that she is the only one hurting. obviously a very stressfull relationship...she might even be abusive (mentally neways) |

Wow this song is amazing.!!! Ok well first off nowhere in the song does it state gender I want evidence of homosexuallness. I think differently. THis song is about a girl who wants to be serious with her guy and he just doesnt feel the same. Just like the title of the song she was rejected. Dangerous Muse is amazing. they write genuinly from the heart and their rythms can take you away...I love how personal he gets in his song and how blatantly obvious what he's singing about is. ...he wants her to forget about him and stop persuing. so obvious. |

My personal interperetation (totally different from everyone elses.) This song is one of the few about love on this cd. Imagine this. boy falls in love w/ girl (or so he thinks) after a while into the relationship she is in love with him too! He finds out he doesnt love her for whateever reason and feels guilty/ horrible about it. wants to "take the blow for" her. ...basically. Proof: Come into my life Regress into a dream We will hide Build a new reality Draw another picture Of the life you could have had Follow your instincts And choose the other path (about how they got together he started turning away from herand thinking about how she could have a better life) Taught to be How did it come to be Tied to a railroad You'll have to set us free Watch our souls fade away Let our bodies crumble away Don't be afraid ( how he wants to end the relationship but he still cares...he wants her to be brave and not afraid to let go) And i've had recurring nightmares That I was loved for who I am And missed the opportunity To be a better man ( how he wishes he was a better person and how he wished he hadnt done what he did and taken her heart for granted or w.e) yes I know a bit about this Im kinda going through teh same relationship turmoil as the lyrics convey. THis album is merely a more blatantly obvious much more pronounced call for revolution. this album is much more about war and overthrowing (and killing with the track assassin) the government/leaders. Starlight is merely used as a glimpsse into the minds of a soilder being sent off into a war that he doesnt know is worth it or not. "far away from the memories of the people who live or die" -talking about how hes leaving his family and home at ,well, home. "Starlight I will be chasing a starlight Until the end of my life I dont know if it’s worth it anymore" = his or her doubts about the war but he's doing it for honor (in my opinion) or because he was drafted. " Our hopes and expectations black holes and revelations" a complicatedly tricky line more of a before and after kind of theme. what the government hoped for (with a war or combat or w/e) turned into a black hole which could either mean money losing or life losing (more for the latter than the former) and revelations of teh general people; them realizing that maybe those in power should not be or maybe them realizing how truly inadequate and secret the government really is. |
