im pretty sure that Isaac's already stated that the whole Ugly Casanova/Edgar Graham story is fictional. It seems like something he would do, like make up stories to fuck w/ people. but it doesnt mean he was tripping out or anything like "gahhhh ugly casanova yah drugs are cool". i dont know he prolly just thought it was a clever spin off of the name so he decided to toy around with it. and then when the oppurtunity to use it as a band name came up, it worked out. |

i had a coke problem one summer. all i did was multi task for weeks straight (but w/out actually getting anything done) and i spoke like combining two sentences at once. i owed everyone money and i lied my ass off constantly. some people say that isaac's bettering himself as a person by supposedly cutting back his habits but haha i dont know... i dont do coke anymore cause it was just a big fucking hassle. it gave me heart problems and makes you ugly. thats all.
everyone seems to want to know what the prechat is. its:....is there an ashtray in here?.... can we smoke in here?.... yeah, eric has those pockets.
i keep imagining that eric has big pockets that isaacs making fun of, like you can ash your cigarette in them. i dont know, i dont care. |

Okay this is my input:
For alot of Modest Mouse fans, including myself, the album Good News For People Who Love Bad News has been a huge dissapointment in certain ways such as the polished sell-out sound of it. So I've pretty much been telling myself that I dont like the album ever since it's come out. But thinking about it now, the album itself, as a collection of songs, isn't all that bad. If this album was released by another band, like some new hot band with the name The(insert plural noun or adjective), it would probably be considered real good album by me. So I dont really know what I'm trying to get at. Just that, the fault in Good News For People Who Love Bad News isn't in the songs themselves, but just in the band who takes credit for them. Which I dont think should be considered such a big deal, because what it comes down to is music itself, not the band or the image or the sound that came before it. I dont know, whatever. I should stop now because I still dont like this album. And thats all I have to say about that. |

This is my favorite song from the new album. Like Heimdalsgate like a Promethean Curse is catchy and easy to grasp and all, but this song is super intense and gritty. I didnt notice the Woolfe reference at first, but it makes sense now. |
