This song is about a general who has seen the other soldiers and is completely outnumbered and he knows it. The fight is not worth fighting. All of his troops are denined to death. In that morning when they are supposed to battle he tells all of them to go home and dont worry about the war. Live life and enjoy it, for all of your time from this morning on is a gift. Everybody else is talking about how the general could be jesus and i completely understand that...go now you are forgiven...he faces the world alone at the end...no doubt in my mind...but when i interprited it, that isnt what came to my head, reguardless, thanks for a different outlook, i appreciate it. |
