Yeah, I love Jens but I'm not too into this song. The lyrics are too cruel and he comes off as a bit of a prick. I do enjoy the ending instrumentals though. |

it's funny. i think the little spinning sound you hear at the very beginning is supposed to be a glock. but glocks don't have revolving chambers that make woot sounds like that..

i think the chorus shows how she had already been gone for a while, in a sense.

i love the chorus where he sings "tiiiiiina!" it's like the ghost that's "screaming [her] name". and the synth in the background is just like a ghost too. so pretty, even if it's eerie! |

i'm not IN LOVE with the song but it's nice. some rather whiny vocals. yet i really love the title, especially "teh secks". that's real leet skeet of them.
um, also, whenever i hear "sweat from night", i think it sounds like "sweat from one nut". makes me feel gross. but the song itself is a LITTLE dirty, so..

it's CLEARLY about myspace. there's no other explanation.
tom the overlord. tom is face of myspace, in a sense, the overlord.
Catherine talks about how myspace consumes you, it "costs your soul" as well as "hair dye", as there are those myspacers who continuously pretty themselves up for picture time.
"your friends are numbers" - lots of people only concern themselves with adding friends..people they don't know are merely "numbers".
it's all blatantly attacking the ridiculous society that myspace has helped build, the "sophisticated ego mass", the world as a "soap opera". |
