WHY ARE MORE PEOPLE NOT LIKE THIS? People in general.. not even men or women, just people as a whole. We're all so ready to say "Express your opinions and beliefs!" But then, when someone actually DOES, we are eager and prepared to bite their head off for doing so.
I still don't know exactly what happened with this whole death threat thing, and I don't even know what the Dixie Chicks even said to begin this whole thing, but who really cares? They said something that people obviously didn't like, and that's just fine, because they have the right to.

man that is soo true, the music almost doesn't go with the lyrics at ALL! but yellowcard makes it work.
this song reminds me of my cousin. she died at 16, just last autumn, and this is the one song that will make me cry if i pay attention to the lyrics and think about her at the same time. every single element of this song applies to my relationship with my cousin. "You won't be coming back, and I didn't get to say goodbye." I didn't. "I hope that all is well in heaven, cuz it's all shot to hell down here" HOW FREAKING TRUE. this song depresses me so much. i listen to it when i need to cry. |
