Theres a movie called "Shes having a baby" from 1988 with Kevin Bacon. It's a movie about being married, from the mans perspective. In it is a scene towards the end of the movie where his wife is giving birth. Its a difficult delivery. I know the baby lives, don't remember if the wife lives. This scene was sent to Kate Bush and she wrote this song. |

I think 10:24, in the video means "take back your life day". This a day observed on October 24. It makes perfect sense, in the context of the video. The girls standing in a school and an office building were ppl are hustling and bustling around trying to get work done. Then at 10:24 after the girl screams everyplace is empty, like everybody has gone to live there lives and letting"there lives pass them by" as stated in the song. Go to www.timeday.org |

I think Brandon is singing about a man and womans love for each other. No matter what problems or obsticles get in their way, they will have one another to lean on. I've loved Incubus for a very long time, and I can honestly say that this is one of their best songs ever, I Miss You would be the only song I would compare to this one. Incubus, one of the greatest rock bands on the planet today, BY FAR!!!! What do you think that word is that Brandon refers to in the beginning of the song "we'll make a pact to never speak that word again". I can only think of the word"hate", as in I hate you. Maybe? |

Love this song..think its great. I cant help thinking every time I watch it when the girl looks away from from the guy, after shes obviously been waiting for him, what a bitch. i hated when girls did that as I grew up...although I did it too. Cool video and even cooler song! |
