Even though it's a cover, Death Cab's version is probably my favorite song right now mainly just because of the entire second verse beginning with "Every town has a corner.." Because for some reason it reminds me of high school, and the diversity of all the naive, immature kids that think they've already got it all figured out. High school is where I am now and I love to observe all these different styles and all the separate cliques who will never fully accept eachother. I know that later in life, I'll remember these times and I'll shake my head and laugh. I already feel that way now. So, I don't know what "Wait" means, but if I'm wrong I still love to use it my own way. I think I interpret Death Cab songs a little stronger than others because this band is one of the highest influences on my style. |
