I've updated it with what you have there, but I still think it's a "kiss to the center of your head" |
Glasvegas – Geraldine Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song is obviously sarcastic, right? Am I the only one that gets that? |
Fleet Foxes – Your Protector Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I think that: "I'm the one in the shootin' game" Should be: "On the morning that you came" |
Beastie Boys – Do It Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I like totally can't think of an earthquake without being reminded of this song. |
The Dodos – Winter Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Does this song sound a lot like The Magnetic Fields' "My Only Friend" to you too? |
Jens Lekman – A Postcard To Nina Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I think "Then it turned into buffalo 66" Should be: "The clock on the wall strikes four, five, six." That's pretty off, so maybe I'm hearing a different version. I really, really wish it said Buffalo 66 since that's my favorite movie. It also somewhat applies to the theme of the song here too. |
Pavement – Two States Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I'm fairly certain that this is about California since Pavement was kinda formed in Northern California even though the various members hail from all over. |
Belle & Sebastian – I Don't Want to Play Football Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This was for the movie Storytelling and is referring to American Football. Stuart likes playing Soccer/Association Football, actually. |
Belle & Sebastian – Piazza, New York Catcher Lyrics | 17 years ago |
"The pitcher puts religion first and rests on holidays" From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christy_Mathewson Also at times referred to as "The Christian Gentleman", Mathewson was said to have promised his mother that he would never pitch on Sunday, a promise he managed to keep. |
