Last night i saw TBS in Lowell, Mass and they played this song as an encore. Adam came out with his acoustic guitar, but before he preformed this song he sang another really amazing song. I don't know what the name of it is and I tried looking it up but didn't find it. If anyone was there and knows it could you let me know? I think one of the lines from the song was "You're always dragging up excuses." Hm. Anyways, this is an amazing song. TBS never disappoints me. |

This song relates to so many people but in so many different ways. It is so beautiful, and that's the great thing about Brand New, that they can take something painful and turn it into something beautiful. haha, it's so funny because this song described what situation i was in so much. i was in a relationship with this guy, but he was just too clingy and he was too madly in love with me and we were just too young for that. and i broke up with him, then at this party i went to he was there and my friends and i were hanging out around where he was. and then he had this arm around this girl who was four years older than him and they started making out and then this song was on, and my friends and i went over to his table because our other friends were there, and i kind of felt like i was singing this song to him, and i could tell he knew it too. because he is replacable...and i could have another him in a minute. it was just so weird that this song had come on then. i NEVER listen to this type of music. but it's so weird because this IS a good song. it's just really...meaningful. and confident. |

This song is amazing. It rips a hole right in my heart. This song is about a relationship, but things keep on getting in the way, but they can't leave each other. The boy wants to take it slower and really understand what the relationship means, but the girl is taking things too fast. Myabe she's trying to be the perfect girl or something. But it's true, you can't cover up how you feel when you're in love, and maybe that's what she's trying to do. Maybe her parents don't want the relationship to happen, and she's trying to lie to her parents and maybe him. I think that the relationship in the song ended, and he really misses her. He feels alone. And maybe the relationship is deffinitley over, and they don't even talk to eachother anymore. This song breaks my heart. It's so powerful and makes me want to cry. |

Scooter Ward, your sadness saved us. This is a beautiful song. I fell in love with a boy, and this song is a reflection of what we're going through. I know it would sound dumb to keep on saying how powerful this song and the band is, but it's so true. Cold can express the things we're feeling deep inside our hearts with such beautiful lyrics. I remember when i saw Cold in concert they preformed this song, and my ex and i danced through it, and i just started crying. It's amazing how a band can write a song that can move you to tears like that. I am not going to say what this song is really about, because it means different things to different people. Everyone feels something different when they listen to it. It's hard to say exactley what the song is about, because no one can really capture the beauty of this song.
