the guitar is A LOT heavier. but there is less screaming. more intence singing i like to call it lol. I really like this song. i saw them a few weeks back before the cd came out. i never heard the song. but after they sung the chorus once i was able to sing along :). Its so catchy its not even funny. I do wish pete screamed more. but its still there :) |

I love this song, it rocks. you can go on chevelleinc.com and see what pete says it is about. but still. song rocks. the new cd is AMAZING. the guitar is HEAVY i wish there was a little more screaming. but its still there so i cant complaint to much. :) |

I love this song. Mark said at the concert i went to that it is about falling in love :). which makes since when you read the lyrics. I love the beggining. "silly girl i think i got a thing for you". Mark is so good at writing songs :) |

I love the bass at the beggining of the song. its so EFFing awesome. I think it could be about the drug thing since they are writing more dark songs now. but I think the song doesn't match. for the really dark songs like lillian and little death. this is more upbeat like cliffdiving. I think its about a guy meeting a girl, and falls hard and quick. but shes got issues and probably doesnt feel the same yet. but hes telling her no matter what "I'll be there when your heart stops beating" |

I think it is maybe about how mark has changed since blink 182. not about the break up of it. The lyrics sound like actual lycanthropy tho. which is kool. Like how when the moon comes up he changes and what not. I think its mostly about how mark changed tho cuz look how dark the lyrics are. he usually wrote happy or just looser songs (whats my age again) in blink. I love the song tho. it kicks ass |

"a thousand faces will choose to ignore" basically means that all the old blink fans will ignor the fact that they are broken up and will never get back together. the whole "blow job and fucking" stuff was what made blink in the first place. Tom was trying to change blink completley. sure blink could have grown up and they did. but it wasn't the same. i liked thier earlier albums a lot more. I think he wrote the song like it is to show how easy it is to write a "emo" song, maybe idk. and yeah the "You make a sound that feels like pain" is about how toms voice just sounds like someone whining. I agree with the how tom tried to make AVA sound like it was gonna change music forever and blah blah. he already was apart of something that changed music forever... BLINK 182!! I think +44 is starting where blink left of tho. Just wait till there next album. and the ones after that. |

Yeah on the chevelleinc.com page you can watch a live performance of this song. and before they start pete says its about a night of drinkin some alcohol(dont remember what kind). so i guess when he says "a black out" he's talking about blacking out from to much drinking lol |

I think the song is about a personal struggle with yourself. like maybe you are a certain way. and you dont like it about yourself so maybe you wanna change it. but you shouldn't change yourself. so you have a personal tug-o-war with yourself. and maybe it means that you rape yourself? idk. really good song. full of energy... and just cuz the title has "war" in it. doesnt mean its about BUSH or the WAR. jeez |

I love this song, its so beautiful. Its good to see that chevelle can create a beautiful song thats not like a lonely visitor or bend the bracket. Pete's voice is so amazing. i wish I had half the voice talent he has. I personally think that NONE of chevelles songs are about political things. but thats just me. they are deeper, more personal. it's not like them to just complain about stuff like that. like alot of other bands do |

I think it means that he runs from his problems. and that all he needs to do is tell himself that he is done with that or those problems and it will be over. but he learns what he needs to do to really overcome the problem... and the acustic songs at the end of both the cd's KICK ASS. just cuz some people dont have taste for something beautiful. doesnt mean they should come diss on it when they dont appriciate it |

Yeah on chevelles website it says the song is about claustrophobia. when pete got nailed in a small wooden box by sam when they were young. ITS NOT ABOUT CHRIST. but i guess sam said whatever you wanna interpret it as is cool. but they wrote it about claustrophobia. and how it feels wanting to die cuz your so damn scared. i think when he says "NOW SATURATE" he is talking about either crying cuz he is so scared. or literally pissing himself cuz hes so scared. either way yeah. thats what i think |
