I dont know anything about the album STILL LIFE but I do know BENIGHTED has to be one of the top ten songs I've ever heard. On those nights when I miss the feeling of equilibrium and sometimes even if I don't , i play this song and it leaves me humbled.
The song is about the feeling of being benighted and calming a lover. It's in a way trying to calm one's lover. This song changes my mood for days when it's at it's effective most. It never leaves my cell phone and I think 4-5 A.M after a long, long conversation is the best time to possibly play it.

I hear this song every now and then. George Michael is an enigma. His voice seeks the depth of one's soul and is a total revelation. This song is meant for winters and nights. this song breaks my heart with every consequent listen. Hilarainbow nailed it, i think. Thank you very much.
"These days my life has changed" I remember putting this song on the first disc I made for my ex-girlfriend. Of course, she liked it a lot but she rarely ever spoke of it. "my mother had a brother" is another great G.M track with similar sound but this one nails it. |

I completely relate to this song, atleast judging from your song meanings. Oh man, Last Kiss is one of the best OST's I've heard. This song breaks my heart each time I hear it, absolutely wonderful mesmersia surrounds it. For fans of the artist, check out Sundrenched World too. |
