Iggy Pop – Candy Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I think the lass in the song is a prossie named Candy and she is singing about her addiction to candy (heroin) while Iggy is singing about his love of her. Iggy can't have her because she can't give up the street walking because she can't give up the heroin. They both sing the same lyrics at the end of the song yet logically she can't be singing about missing herself. |
Kenny Loggins – Footloose Lyrics | 14 years ago |
"My friends think I'm crazy, but I don't care. I gotta CUT LOOSE...FOOT LOOSE! " C'mon, let's not kid anyone. You don't have any friends now do you? |
Iron Maiden – Tailgunner Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I accept your apology. |
Iggy Pop – Candy Lyrics | 14 years ago |
The movie Candy is a laugh a minute laugh-a-thon, a great movie to raise the spirits. I also think the simple interpretation is the best with Iggy as he is always pretty straight forward with his lyrics, think songs like 5 foot 1 and Bored. Pretty straight forward messages. *grin* |
Little Richard – Tutti Frutti Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I like the way Metalsandman thinks. |
Pulp – Seductive Barry Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I quite like this track. Like a lot of Pulp songs it's a very sexual song done in a very sexy manner, unlike say a typical RnB track talking about booty and titties which is crass and totally in your face. Without wanting to sound like some greasy, bristling chest hair 'ladies man' this track is nice to listen to in the early hours of the morning when you are spending the night in bed with someone special. |
Pulp – Monday Morning Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Yes, a life dominated by looking forward to the weekend and living a pointless life of boredom during the week. Reminds me of how I felt when I was working in call centers before I finally saved some money and moved to China for a year. I also think Santiagof hit the nail on the head as well. |
L7 – Pretend We're Dead Lyrics | 14 years ago |
This song is obviously about conformity and you can get the meaning from the song in a couple of ways. Some of which have been mentioned. I always hear this song as the band saying they pretend they're dead so morons ignore them. I heartily agree, I like to keep people I don't like or have any interest in from wasting my time/life. Never put up with petty bullshit or nonsense from anyone as it's a waste of your life. Surround yourself with good people and you'll be sweet. 'Just say no to individuality' always strikes me as say no to conformity, i.e goths/emos/hipsters etc all bend over backwards to be 'individuals', just like every other 'individual'. You know those annoying teenage girls who do up their pink hatchbacks and put frangapani stickers on their rear window? That kind of behaviour is massive compensation for a complete lack of a personality as is anyone who obsesses about their image or appearance in general. "Oh my god! I like totally so do have a personality! Like my hair is PINK and I have a tattoo!!1 lol" Got off on a bit of a rant there. *grin* |
Iggy Pop – Candy Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I always thought this song was about past good times with heroin. |
David Bowie – Red Sails Lyrics | 14 years ago |
This song is about fuckin' mad bitches when they're on the rag. "I feel a bit roughed up, feel a bit frightened Nearly pin it down some time Red sail action wake up in the wrong town Boy, I really get around" You always feel frightened and roughed up, especially when you feel you've woken up in the wrong town or on the wrong planet which is quite a normal feeling when you wake up next to a woman actin' like a cut snake cause she has the communists up her cooch. "Thunder ocean Thunder ocean Red sails take me Make me sail along" A shiela with the painters in is like a thundering ocean and the Red Sails make you want to sail away and face a few months of rough seas and hairy sailor arse rather than deal with the mad bitch boiling your rabbit and throwing your breakfast against the wall cause she's got a bloody rag up her duff. "Red sails, and a mast so tall" Aunty Scarlet is in and that means you ain't gettin' your end away. You end up with a mast so tall but no deep fish filled ocean trench to slam it in. "Do you remember we another person Green and black and red and so scared" When old love has got the crimson tide she's like some other woman, some green, black and red witch screeching like a scalded cat and scaring you so much you think you're balls will drop off. "Graffiti on the wall kept us all in tune Bringing us all back home" Spraying the bloodied contents of your now dead dog against the wall to keep you in line is pretty standard behaviour for a crazy bitch in the throws of her monthly carmine copulations. "Red sails Thunder ocean Red sails Sailor can't dance like you, ooh, yooou" Your mate's at sea can't dance like your bunny boiler back home but he's preferable to erratic and demented behaviour when it's that time of the month. "Ahh, red sail Red sail action Red sail Some reaction" You're there in the bed, missus bent over and you're ploughing her from behind in the dark when that wet slapping sound takes on a different tone. You turn the lights on and it looks like a murder scene. You freak the fuck out cause the missus has just dropped the red flag and she's bearing her fangs at you and grunting and wheezing like a sick hog. You gotta get outta there quick before the red mist takes full control and you lose your plums to an ill sharpened bread knife. "Action boy seen living under neon" Man's escape to the neon sign in the bar where he can escape the crazy bitch back home with the bloody axe wound. "Struggle with a foreign tongue" No man can make sense of what a bitch is talking about at the best of times let alone when she's staining the cotton red. "Red sails make him strong Action make him sail along Life stands still and stares" Some mad bitch on the rag gives a man the motivation he needs to make him move on and be strong. "The hinterland, the hinterland We're gonna sail to the hinterland And it's far far, far far far, far far far away Its a far far, far far far fa da da da-da da 1 2 3-4 Ooooooo" Running to the hinterland is the best course of action when escaping the dragon with the leaky cunt. |

Iron Maiden – 22 Acacia Avenue Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Amazing song about how the band first experimented with their homosexuality. Charlotte is a tranny. Obviously being dressed like a woman made it more acceptable for the band to engage in homosexual sex. Though obviously still quite rough with the references to blood in the song. The risk of disease refers to the aids virus which was just being discovered at the time and which was considered a gay man only disease. |
Iron Maiden – Tailgunner Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Wow, you guys are getting so fired up and angry. Holding in your subconscious homosexual urges is resulting in so much anger. Find a friend to release that "anger" with, you'll feel much better. It's ok that you love music that is inspired by a gay lifestyle. I recently saw Maiden in Sydney, the camp smile Brucey was giving the audience whilst singing Powerslave and the accompanying blue lighting. We all know what a blue light means, not to mention the Egyptian themed set which is a link back to ancient Egypt where it was common for brothers to sleep with brothers and where many Pharoahs were homosexuals who married their sisters. As for explaining Charlotte the Harlot I might just go and do that. As for Nicko being married, well it's the perfect cover. What kind of true rock star who can have any woman he likes limit himself to one?.. A rock star who marries someone as a cover and wanders round the local park late at night bumming strangers. |
Tenacious D – Double Team Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I find a side hatch opening and a naked Jack Black and KG running out with grins on their faces hilarious. |
Manowar – The Last Winged Unicorn Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Joey DeMaio's gay lover wrote this song in celebration of their first anniversary. Yeah, magic unicorns and cosmic flowers. Manly stuff. |
Manowar – Kings Of Metal Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Thanks for that Aniland. Manowar's deep lyrics can sometimes be hard to understand unless you are some crackerjack college kid with a "degree". A message to Manowar about this track, you can't tell the world you have bigger penises. You have to prove it with displays at your shows. This will send your fans wild. As a side note the original lyrics had the subtle change of, "When we get up we're gonna lick your ass" |
Manowar – Blood Of The Kings Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I love how this song makes me piss myself laughing every time I listen to it. The awesome wailing at the start of the track just sets me off. Not to mention their self contradiction by requesting the blood of kings when they claim they are the kings of metal fighting the good fight in every other song they sing. Manowar are enormously stupid but this is why I love them so. Continue the crusade you seem to think you are fighting you great homo erotic, fur wearing kings of metal! - And thanks again to the Manowar fan who misspelled the lyrics to this song and capitalised the sections where the lead singer appears to have landed his nads in the gear workings of an old fashioned clock. |
Little Richard – Long Tall Sally Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Best scene in Predator by far. "...'cuz her's was, as big... as... a... house..." |
Manowar – Call To Arms Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Oh yeah and if I want to hang around with my mates on the weekend dressed in loincloths in my basement dungeon I don't have to feel gay about it. |
Manowar – Call To Arms Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank Manowar for fighting the good fight. Without them single handedly fighting the crusade against "counterfeit metal" we would all be worshipping bands of faggots and jews. I also salute the band for making use of words other bands tend to ignore such as: warriors, steel, brotherhood, steel, blood and fight. |
Manowar – Warriors Of The World United Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This was the first Manowar song I listened to. It brought a grin to my face I couldn't wipe away. The cheese levels are through the roof. Plodding metal that cuts to spoken word in the middle of the song with medieval foppish music is so completely awesome and amusing. Manowar are 4/5 pure amusement for me with the remaining 1/5 being their ability to rock out. I pray that this band doesn't take themselves even vaguely seriously. |
Dio – Holy Diver Lyrics | 17 years ago |
"Ride the tiger You can see his stripes but you know he's clean Oh don't you see what I mean" No Ronnie, I don't. |
Gerry Rafferty – Baker Street Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I could listen to that saxamaphone all day and then some. |
Pearl Jam – Alive Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Essentially this song is about being dead. |
Redd Kross – Jimmy's Fantasy Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I remember recording this on rage late one night. I love this track but can't find it these days. |
Dio – Rainbow In The Dark Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Dio recorded this song whilst simultaneously giving a semi-tamed tiger a red rocket. He claimed it gave him a greater capability to wail out the lyrics and essentially rock out harder than he would otherwise be capable. |
Dio – Holy Diver Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Ronnie Dio is extremely insightful. |
Iron Maiden – Tailgunner Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Hey Metal Maiden. Cheers for coming back, it took you awhile. You can lose days at a time without realising it when you are dancing away with your brothers in the "Tool Shed". The club where you always use the rear entrance. |
David Bowie – Pablo Picasso Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Porch. |
Pulp – Monday Morning Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This is basically a Saturday Night Fever song. |
Frank Zappa – Dinah-Moe Humm Lyrics | 17 years ago |
"I whipped off her bloomers'n stiffened my thumb An' applied rotation on her sugar plum" That is far an away my favourite line. The first time I heard it I pissed myself. What an awesome metaphor for massaging a clitoris! |
Sepultura – Roots Bloody Roots Lyrics | 17 years ago |
THIS SONG ROCKS!! I remember when I first discovered that I was gay I would listen to this song knowing that others, like Sepultura had been through what I had been through. This song gave me the courage to come out. I love it when they play this live. It always excites me so much, I get so hard! Anyway, onto the meaning of the song. "Roots Bloody Roots Roots Bloody Roots Roots Bloody Roots Roots Bloody Roooaaaaaahh" This is at the heart of every gay man's desires. Bloody roots, brutal fucking that results in your partner's anus starting to bleed as you roar in passion! FUCK YEAH! "I Believe In Our Fate We Don't Need To Fake It's All We Wanna Be Watch Me Freeeaaak !!" Here we see the question of whether being gay is a choice answered when we are told that it is "fate". We can't change it, there's no need to fake, we should just be proud whenever we wanna get our homosexual, anal-rampaging freak on! "I Say We're Growing Every Day Getting Stronger In Every Way" These lines refer to the gay community getting bigger and stronger. The more accepted it becomes and the more people that are coming out of the closet then the bigger and stronger we become! "I'll Take You To A Place Where We Shall Find Our Roots Bloody Roots Roots Bloody Roots Roots Bloody Roots Roots Bloody Roots" These lyrics discuss being taken to a place, (usually a public toilet) where we can have bloody passionate roots! "Rain Bring Me The Strength Is Breeding Me This Way To Get To Another Day And All I Want To See Set Us Free" Here the band are asking for strength and courage to face another day as gay men in a world full of prejudice. It also mentions being bred this way, being bred gay. "Why Can't You See Can't You Feel This Is Real Ahhh" Here we see the band asking for acceptance from the straight community. Telling us that being gay is just the same, just as real; as being straight. "I Pray We Don't Need To Change Our Ways To Be Saved That All We Wanna Be Watch Us Freak" Again Sepultura prays for acceptance and tells us not to change, not to act straight or hide who we are, we will be saved anyway. Watch us be proud gay men! Watch us get our anal freak on! Fuck all the haters saying this song sucks! |
Alice Cooper – Cold Ethyl Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I can verify xl5ron's story. I was there, I was the poor bastard that had to warm up her dead and stiff old cooch with a bit of Mobil 1 and a stiff rod. I have no regrets. |
Iron Maiden – Tailgunner Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I'm glad to see you are finally catching your own subconcious, homo-erotic tendencies before I have to point them out. I'm not the one that appears to check back to this page every day to defend my sexuality to an anonymous stranger on the internet. Here's a web site I think you will find both confronting and comforting: http://www.allfreegay.com Good luck! |
AC/DC – Thunderstruck Lyrics | 17 years ago |
By the way biznitch08, think about each word before you type. You are giving Strayan's a bad name. |
Sentenced – Bleed Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Err, you just said exactly what Sabre Runner did. Standard gothic "I'm a pathetic loser and want to kill myself" type lyrics. I love this track and love "The Killers" (teheh) music but their lyrics are generally shite. Maybe I should go visit their home_grave_ am i rite?? lols |
Katrina and the Waves – Walking on Sunshine Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This song is about Katrina's heroin addiction after coming out of re-hab. The first verse is about her next fix being delivered by her dealer or arriving in the mail. Eventually she accepts her addiction and embraces it. It's no wonder she eventually went completely off the rails, pennyless and working the streets 18 months after this single was released. To this day she still lives in a New York mental institution. The waves continue to play local gigs in Pittsburgh with the bassist now a shell of a man after being ravaged by syphilis. |
Kenny Loggins – Footloose Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This song is actually about a young man who has turned to a life of casual prostitution as he finds the "normal" standard of living and behaviour boring. Unfortunately this leads to him contracting syphilis which results in his foot coming loose and eventually falling off. He embraces this as part and parcel of his chosen profession. "I been working so hard Keep punching my card Eight hours, for what?" Here we see the protagonist venting his frustration at his 9-5 job and for what? Peanuts. "Tonight I gotta cut Loose, footloose Kick off your Sunday shoes" So he cuts loose from the daily grind and advises his client, (a middle aged family man we assume) to kick off his Sunday loafers. "Please, Louise Pull me offa my knees" Working all day on your knees providing oral relief to men requires his fag hag friend Louise to help him off his knees. "Jack, get back C'mon before we crack Lose your blues" Here the protagonist advises his client to get back before he "cracks". A euphemism for ejaculation. The line "lose your blues" refers to his next client, advising him to "lose his blues" or take off his jeans if you will. "You're playing so cool Obeying every rule Dig way down in your heart You're yearning, burning for some Somebody to tell you That life ain't passing you by I'm trying to tell you It will if you don't even try You can fly if you'd only cut Loose, footloose" Again we are encouraged to lead the life we want to lead. Even if our foot rots off from syphilis and our life is short; at least we shall enjoy it. |
Kenny Loggins – Danger Zone Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Top Gun is actually a movie about accepting your own homosexuality. A very fitting theme for the 80's with the AIDS scare and general prejudice against homosexuals. This theme is also expressed in the only way possible at that time. Very subtley and underlying the whole movie. Yes, the movie is about Maverick facing up to the challenges of Top Gun and the death of Goose but if you watch the movie again knowing it was written by a gay man for a gay actor who still publicly denies his homosexuality you will notice endless references to Maverick's inner conflict. The final scene is the clincher with the musical score singing, "We had a love, a love, a love you don't find everyday" This love being Maverick and Goose's homosexual relationship. As Maverick goes into kiss Kelly Mcguilles as the screen fades to black the lyrics are singing, "So don't, don't, don't let it slip away!" "I need your love, bring it back, bring it back, bring it back!" This references Tom Cruise holding onto who he really is and not pretending to be straight and going the way everyone tells him. |
Iron Maiden – Tailgunner Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Your choice of words betray you. Head stuck in a toilet bowl full of shit? Is this what you are used to when you are bent over the bowl at the local public toilets when you are being reamed from behind by your mate Julian while rocking out to Tailgunner? |
Ol Dirty Bastard – Got Your Money Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Essentially this song theorises the transient nature of ol dirty's relationships and his inability to gain his requisite finances from his gang of wack bitches. |
Kelis – Millionaire Lyrics | 17 years ago |
"Can't just put the cap on the old bottle once you pop it that will spoil it, gone and drink it and enjoy it." That line had deep meaning for me the first time I heard it when I was in my mates car stoned one night being subjected to all his r&b/rap/gangsta rap. Sad. I dig this song. It's just saying being rich isn't always what it's cracked up to be. |
AC/DC – Thunderstruck Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Not a aingle person has actually written a meaning for this song... It's about pre-mature ejaculation. I can't pick out any lines as three verses clearly indicate this. "I was shakin' at the knees Could I come again please? Yeah the ladies were too kind" Those three lines are the most obvious but except for the verse about driving into Texas and fucking around with some dancers each verse is about coming to quick. If you don't believe me I'd be happy to explain more. Just read the lyrics again and listen to the way the song is sung. |
AC/DC – The Razor's Edge Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Nothing to add apart from how awesome this song is. |
AC/DC – Squealer Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This is possibly my favourite AC/DC song. I love how dodgy and dirty it sounds. I can just imagine one of the hairy sweaty band members seducing some little groupie. Ahah! |
A-Ha – The Living Daylights Lyrics | 17 years ago |
One of my favourite A-ha songs and at the age of 25 my favourite Bond movie. I thought Dalton was the best interpretation of James Bond from the books. |
A-Ha – Train Of Thought Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Interesting thought about the geezer in the song being blind. I never bother reading into lyrics and just take this as a tale of a guys boring day to and from work. |
A-Ha – The Sun Always Shines on TV Lyrics | 17 years ago |
My mother would always play this album when I was a chillun. I loved this song but could only relate to the line about the sun shining on the tv which was real annoying as a kid as you couldn't see the cartoons properly. This is my favourite A-ha song by far. |
