this is a really good song but i dont think they are"mocking" religious fanatics. i think they are about how much wrong is in the world and all the horrible things humanity does and how eventually we,the humans, are going to end our world b/c of all the disgusting things we do and how we are just going to bring ourselves down eventually and everyone and everything with us.thats why the title is"the wicked end" b/c when we do end the world it wont be a peaceful end it will be a horrible,wicked end to humanity. theres a religious referance to this song b/c they are saying how from the begining of all humanity we were already doing wrong "Dust the apple off, savor each bite

ok i was so wrong in my other post so i will tell you wat the song means. no this song isnt about getting wasted because why would davey rite about being drunk and wasted if hes a straightedge so to those of you who said that you are incrdibly wrong you cant jjust think that cuz of the first line in the song that has nothing to do with the meaning. ok onto the meaning. this song is about fame. the killing lights are the camera flashes. i no this because davey is always talking about how he hates the fame and in this song he is saying how the fame is killing him but he uses cameras as a syboll for the fame. if you look at the song from this point of view it sounds better and makes a lot more sense. also in this song he says five am on the bathroom floor because he is talking about all the other movie stars and how they go to all sorts of parties and crap like that and then the next moring they wake up and act as if nothing has happened. the line Am I beautiful?
Am I useable? meaning if that person maybe davey talking to himself or another person asking if they are beautiful enough to be a movie star. the cut you up lyric is about how all the fans tear you up they just use you so to speak and how in the magizines they just cut out your picture and tell you they love you when they dont even no you. this has also been a big topic of daveys because in a couple of interviews davey has said how fans always kiss him and tell him they love him when he doesnt even no these ppl. the other line when he says Three A.M. on the city street,

i dont get how you guys would think this was about 9-11 even if it makes sense i dont think davey is that politicaly envolved but i think this song is about religion. if you didnt no this alreadu your supposed to listen to the whole cd backword and it tells a story about davey so to speak an autobiograohy.sing the sorrow is about how davey has to leave his home b/c he is"sick" and cant stay there anymore(maybe he is refearing for his illness and how he left his home) and eventually in the cd davey kills himself in either a metaphric way or literal way (this happens on girls not grey) so this song is how davey loses his faith in god and how when he relied on god to be there for him god wasnt which makes sense b/c davey got cancer and maybe when davey was in the hospital davey was reliying on god to help him he wasnt there for him. maybe i over look this song and look to deep in this song but this is wat i get out of this song and i hope you can see wat i see in this song |
