Sigur Rós – Untitled 8 Lyrics 17 years ago
It's sad to hear all the shit on the radio when this is out there.
Not that I'd necessarily want to hear Sigur Rós on the radio, but I can't believe that people feel comfortable classifying that pop trash and this together as music. It's a disgrace to the music world.

Sigur Rós – Ný Batterí Lyrics 17 years ago
I really don't think this song would be nearly as powerful if it wasn't in Icelandic. English just isn't poetic, comparatively. Although the English translation is among some of the darkest, heaviest lyrics I've read, this song could never be as good as it is in it's native language. I'm guessing most people will probably say "Well, of-fucking-course," but it just had to be said.

Muse – Ruled by Secrecy Lyrics 18 years ago
I fell in love with Muse by listening to this song. I literally listened to it over and over and over while sitting at the piano and attempting to play it, just because I loved it so much.

I believe it is correct - it's based on Rule by Secrecy as citizenerased19 said. Ironically enough, I borrowed this book from a friend before I even knew that the song and this book were connected.

This song is amazing and beautiful, definitely one of my favorite songs.

Muse – Soldier's Poem Lyrics 18 years ago
I'm not trying to be condescending, but to say that this song isn't brilliant, or that it doesn't stand up, is ridiculous. Listen to the words - listen to how powerful they are. I love the line "I will still lay down my life for you"... It seems to me anyone who doesn't like it has no appreciation for poetry. I personally think this is up with the top songs on Black Holes.

Muse – Take a Bow Lyrics 18 years ago
Thanks chat-noir for actually putting the correct lyrics up.

This song isn't about Bush, it's about all leaders, as most everyone has said. Muse isn't an American band, and although the United States' issues have relativity and importance everywhere in the world (just as every country has effect on any other), I think it's impolitic to say that it's about Bush. This can apply to a vast majority of leaders, into which category Bush may fit, but it isn't solely about him. Muse is too good to pigeon-hole something to that specific. Besides, I wouldn't say Bush is corrupt. Sure he is constantly making questionable, if not reckless choices, but he isn't corrupt.

The song on the other hand, is brilliant.
