This song is fucking awesome. Seriously, it's very good. It shows the evolution TBS has reached, it's *their* sound but ten times better. Now, Call me in the morning is another pretty jewel, their best soft song yet. It's also an evolved form of earlier works (like My blue heaven but impossibly better) I love this line up, not because fan bias, but because the amazing sound they've reached. |

Hands down the best one in the album (and my favorite). So much emotion, so many background meaning. I think everyone could give their interpretation and feel like this song speaks to them. To me, it's about that one person that you simply can't live without, the one who knows your sins but wants you by their side anyway. And then this person reaches some kind of situation where, despite anger or frustration, you let it know you'll be there no matter what. Amazing. |

She cheated on him. Simple as that. The video is not related, it's just a very nice video with an interesting concept. Coming from a bad break up, this song is just amazing, reflecting just how you can feel about someone you love deeply, that has betrayed you. ----- You took the tunnel route home, you've never taken that way with me before. Did you feel the need for change? ***This lines clearly define some sort of mockery and bitterness towards her... She cheated, so, he's asking her if she did it just because it was something different, or out of boredom about their relationship (you've never taken that way with ME before) Apologies on your fingernails, love flickered in the city of lights, Like intermittent radio waves ***As it usually happens, when he found out, she apologized and probably said a lot of crap, he knows it's not heartfelt, hence she was just apologizing "from" her fingernails I don't need your tears I don't want your love I just gotta get home. ***Again, when someone cheats, crying is their way of making up for the fact they've betrayed you. Did you feel the need for change? ***You wonder over and over "why did she do it?" so it's congruent that it's similar to the very first line of the song Guilt smeared across your lips, I was tired and cold from the window You're tired, nothing's changed. ***She feels guilty, but that's just not enough in this situation, he needs more, but maybe he realizes that she's done this for a reason, she's subconsciously tired of him, or out of the relationship, and even though she might try to fix this with her words, nothings changed from the fact that she cheated. I think that sums it up. Amazing song. |

I'm pretty sure their managers/producers/advisors pretty much forced her to make this kind of song (haven't heard the entire album) as a career move, just to bring her back in the spotlight. Were they right in doing so? NO . Christina have always shined because of her voice not because she was the sluttiest or the most eccentric, so trying to impose what's trending right now ended up in this song being half GaGa and half Stripped era. I like this song, though the vocals kinda don't fit in, but the synths and beat in general is brilliant. |

One of the best lyrics they've ever written. It's so like their first record but all glammed up it's amazing. It has a so nice vibe, so catchy but yet so inspired, MCS got way way better this time around. Honestly guys, if you ever read this, you're an inspiration. I'm still thinking about the hidden meaning behind all this pop culture verses which are remarkably well done, I can't stress that enough. I usually don't listen to remixes because they end up being either boring or annoying or they don't capture the essence of a song, in this case, boy I'm glad I got this Bside. I wouldn't call it a remix, I'd say it's a "remake" of On The Cross, and a damn good one, it only uses the chorus as a base but the beat and feel to it is different (and in my opinion, better) This remake shows a more subtle side of the original's lyrics, it's showing how Bert (or whoever the protagonist of the song is) wants to believe in a supreme being or force and he's determined to endure awful moments just to get a proof that there's something out there.I see this song as a person who has lost his faith and now it's doubting the chosen path. A personal struggle. On the other side, original On the Cross had a feeling of a believer leaving his faith but respecting other's beliefs. Anyway, I like this song better, give it a go. |

I think at first impression, this song is about someone committing suicide and leaving a lover behind, then as he realizes this, he won't kiss her goodbye, he will follow her steps. But the last couple of verses make me think it's about a break up, where he feels like nothing without her and he won't give up the relationship. He realizes he needs to make changes in himself and he will do the best he can so their love won't die. Yes, I rather think that, but I'm an optimistic guy. Or maybe there's hints about *him* committing suicide, and he wants her to join him. Anyway it's a great soft song and somehow it fits the rest of the tracks. |

This song is really awesome, in both meaning and composition . I love it. Is it true that Bert killed a guy? Because that's a little disturbing... Nevertheless it does sound inspired by a vampire/werewolf which adds a nice touch to it, but what I really like about it is how sometimes we hide our true self in a relationship, and all comes to worse when your lover tells you how good you are and you feel awful for lying and for who you really are, but you're too afraid to reveal this because you know what would happen if you do so. Then this song is more on the angry side of this situation, where you're saying "how could you not see what a scum I really am" (ouch, that last bit is too revealing , lol) Straight from your eyes, it's barely me, beautifully so disfigured... This sentence is golden :-D |

Maybe he did it on purpose so you *have to* look up for the uncensored version, I actually think it's rather interesting because of the big beep , then when I found out it was "the president of whatever" it's not as intriguing . This CD is wonderful, I like all of the songs, they really come together but remain unique. Regarding my thoughts on this particular song, it might be about stupid people following trends (Manson included) and having no substance at all. |

This song is fucking brilliant and cool. Love the beat of it and the whole arrangement, though it might not sound like typical Marilyn, it's good stuff right there. The lyrics are right on track with the whole purpose of complaining about modern times, which are pretty messed up as I think we all agree, but it's not pretentious in doing so, it's just a crack at what the world sees as "American culture" and I think he might have intended the repetition and the upbeat of it as a mock , not a lack of talent. I see this becoming a huge hit, which would be the irony he could have intended. |

People shouldn't branch out just because you tell them to, that's stupid. If it were a suggestion, that's different, but to come here and bash a band, then telling people to branch out, it's kind of hypocrite. I happen to like Avenged Sevenfold very much but it's apples and oranges, you can't simply throw out names and say "it's better" when they have nothing to do with each other. Yes, Synyster has a wider vocal range but that doesn't make a good singer. Patrick's voice is smoother, deeper, and the kid has really improved since the first album. Now, when he tried "screaming" for a song or two on the second album, it was not good at all, he completely dropped it for the third and fourth albums; had he insisted on the screaming, then you would have a valid point making comparisons, vocally speaking. FOB is a very good band, their only "problem" is that they are very popular now, so they're much more exposed to critics and people insulting them *just because they are popular*, therefore you can't base your opinions on that. |

I'm amazed about how beautifully she does such low notes ... Perfect for the total feeling of this song, knowing maybe you missed out your chances with someone that could have been the one. Hurts. One of my favorites of this incredibly good double disc. I'm torn deciding which I like better but I think in the end the "real" Beyonce in the soft tracks wins me over. Beyonce's voice is a true gift to my ears. |

This is my favorite of the album, truly a masterpiece when you factor in vocals, the vague and beautiful lyrics and the amazing instrumentation . She's really great. I got the vague impression it was about a couple breaking up soon, but the above mentioned environmental consciousness message fits very well too because it's too wide to be just about two people. |

I'm surprised there's no more elaborated posts about this juicy song :D I know I bashed a bit on other post but this CD is actually growing on me just because things have changed for me , and now I kinda get it ;-) Ok back to the song, it's one of the most sweet cute metaphors I've heard in a long time, to me it truly symbolizes a relationship many of you might have been into, I've experienced that recently, I was barely hanging on when I saw "the moon" drinking tea (btw this is all best viewed from a first person angle), I just wanted to talk and enjoy her company but then I fell in love and I didn't know how . That's when my heart starts to melt. See? Be more inspired people lol. I wish they could make a really nice fitting video for it, keeping the sun and moon as the characters. |
