Ya, im sure bob is looking down at your comment and smiling. do you thing bob would call would call someone who was trying to teach against babylon a dumbass? I know what i said, and I said it right. your just an ignorant person. Bob himself on MANY occasions called it the babylon SYSTEM. one of his songs is called 'Babylon System' The system of babylon is not slavery, it is a word givin to the MODERN DAY system that opresses, and holds people in mental captivity.
and considering that i am a 15 year old, and know what the babylon system even is makes me far from being a dumbass. you my friend are the one that needs to learn your facts. |

It clearly clearly has a "sexual" meaning. Bob definatly loved sex, but i dont think theres anything wrond with that :) you could tell he loved it from songs like turn your lights down low, do it twice, bend down low, and many more |

oh ya, and Changes, Marcus Garvey did not thing the white man's god was the devil! jah is the same god as christans god! they just have a different name for it!
Marcus garvey was the person who prophesised the crowning of a king in ethiopa named Hailie Salasie I Spelling? otherwise reffered to as H.I.M
They beleived that H.I.M was infact god in the flesh.
Bob Marley's Song war is the exact words of H.I.M |

LISTEN EVERYONE! the whole entire meaning could be found on the forums on www.bobmarleymagazine.com It wasnt bob who wrote "were sick and tired of your ism skisms" it was His fellow wailer Peter Tosh. The words before marley changed them when he went solo were originally "we're sick and tired of your bullshit game, die and go to heaven in the jesus name" -sorry for swearing- this led many people to think bob was ant-christian, but he was not. He was against the babylon system. but the reason he did change the lyrics is because he respected other peoples veiws . But, it's my own personal opinion that bob had a very stong secret faith in Jesus Christ. He even sang the words of jesus himself! like in "forever loving jah"- a sentance in there is an exact queote of Jesus
and about Bob converting to christianity, no one is really sure if that is true, and its likely that its not. I sent multiple e-mails to one of Marley's I-threes, Judy Mowatt because her name was mentioned in the story of his conversion and she is yet to reply |
