Robyn – Call Your Girlfriend Lyrics | 11 years ago |
I love this song, I find it interesting that it can be seen as being told from so many perspectives - from the perspective of the other woman telling the man to break up with his girlfriend or from the perspective of the girlfriend who knows her boyfriend is cheating on her (as someone here mentioned). Another one I sometimes see it as, is from the perspective of the boyfriend talking to himself, trying to gear himself up to break-up with his girlfriend (almost like a boxer talking to himself in the mirror before a fight). |
McFly – Please, Please Lyrics | 17 years ago |
comebackkid_ - I think it tends to be in reference to oral or actual sex. |
Amy Winehouse – Take The Box Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I love this song. The sound is so sultry, but the lyrics are really nice, and true. |
Colbie Caillat – Bubbly Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This is a really simple yet sweet dong. |
Sugababes – Red Dress Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Lol, mel_possum7. I thought it was 'I'd rather Get To God on My Own' aswell. |
Lily Allen – Knock 'Em Out Lyrics | 18 years ago |
My favourite Lily song! I think we get the song meaning, my interpretation is that it's about guy who come up to you believing it'ts in your best interest to give them your number and you basically fob them off with a load of lie to make them go away! |
The Weepies – Gotta Have You Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I love this song! I also heard on iTunes, but in a playlist. I agree I think this song is about being in love with someone no matter what, but in the end all they want is that person. |
McFly – Please, Please Lyrics | 18 years ago |
'Chicken_Pie', have you heard the phrase 'Lie back and think of England' usually used in reference to sex. So, I assume it's that in relation to the song. |
Joshua Radin – Someone Else's Life Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I love this song so much, I think it's about being in love and wanting the person to fall in love back. |
Vanessa Carlton – White Houses Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I love this song so much, the last verse especially reminds me of when I was leaving school, because my friends were so quick to forget about eachother, and I was still trying to stay in touch. 'Maybe you were all faster than me We gave each other up so easily' |
Yellowcard – One Year, Six Months Lyrics | 18 years ago |
To me this song represents an old best friend I had, but we stopped being friends because his g/f didn't like me. The lines "I can tell that you don't know me anymore It's easy to forget, sometimes we just forget And being on this road is anything but sure Maybe we'll forget, I hope we don't forget" Mean a lot to me, because we don't talk anymore and I constantly wonder if he still thinks about me. |
