Lightray is right. This song is about that smell we leave lingering at the toliet after taking a power dump. But it's also about passing gas, or ripping that huge fart. "If you, if you could return Don't let it burn,don't let it fade" Apparently the singer doesn't like Blue Darts, or when someone lights their farts on fire, so she's asking the dude not to. "I'm sure I'm not being rude But it's just your attitude It's tearing me apart It's ruining everything" His smelly gas is ruining her life. Nobody else wants to be around them because he's always farting. "Is that the way we stand Were you lying all the time Was it just a game to you." No one likes it when someone farts and then lies about it. This guy is really leaving a huge stank cloud and telling other people that it's her who farted. The singer says, "You got me wrapped around your finger", in other words, he's asked the singer to pull his finger so that fart can come out. "Do you have to let it linger Do you have to, do you have to let it linger?" She's upset. Nothing's worse than someone who farts and walks away, leaving the stench to linger behind. |

Some people have asked who "she" is in this song, from the line "sometimes I get the feeling she's watching over me". It's really quite obvious. In the first verse, he's talking about his father. Then next, the singer is talking about "she". His father is a hermaphrodite. Hope I cleared up some confusion for you all :). |

But I guess that is a difference between me and the Fall Out Fags- I have enough sense to not start a band, whereas these guys suck balls and pretend like they're the best. Now, I've lived in Mexico, and heard people rocking out to Pearl Jam's "Even Flow" or "Betterman", but NEVER once have I heard anyone listening to "My Nuts Fell Out Boy". Tommy, Yep, Pearl Jam rocks. Here's something else: The band was originally called "Mookie Blaylock", named after a basketball player in the NBA. But since they were worried about name rights, they changed the name to Pearl Jam. Incidentally, the name of their first album, "Ten", was Mookie Blaylock's jersey number. I think we should hijack this thread for Pearl Jam, since Fall Out Boy sucks so bad. |
