I read the book "Charlotte Sometimes" before the band had even formed! I was only a child at the time. Many years later I started to get into the band and was pleasantly surprised to discover the song. Chloe is correct - some days, when Charlotte wakes up she is Claire and it's 100 years earlier - great story. |

I've been to hundreds of concerts and live shows etc. I've never cried at any of them, up until I saw Sigur Ros in april this year. This song moved me to tears. |

This song's brilliant. I wouldn't even contemplate trying to find a meaning in the lyrics though, as I'm sure I'd do my head in. These guys are masters of our language, to say the very least.
The above interpretations are interesting, great food for thought. BTW, there are 9 months from September to June; the length of the average pregnancy. Hmmm...coincidence? |
