They said in an interview they had a song about drug abuse. i suppose this is the one. Society tells us to take the drugs, or to get high to solve the aches and pains of life. I think they are saying that there are tons of pressure by the way america thinks to take these drugs, and that is what is in the doctors minds. Everyone wants control of their body. |

to me this song is about learning how to deal with your faults properly. Convictions to the back burner as it saysm and just know that we all sin and we have to learn how to just move on in our lives and not go the wrong ways. "Still that empty feeling won’t go away. Your puzzle’s missing one very essential piece, and I know you’ll keep looking in all the wrong places until it’s too late." This line sums the whole song up. Its talking about someone missing God in there life and they dont have direction so they continue to slip away from him. And the craash to me is refering to the heart aches and things people go through without God and his love in there life. |

hes talking about God. He really is trying to see God and wants a sign from him. My view point on this song is summed up in the last phrase. "And brother have you found the great peace we all seek". I think this song is about a guy who is just a normal guy who wants something from God but just doesn't think God hears. but in all reality, it WAS our sin which created the seperation between God and man, and the clouds are the sin in our lives. |

To me, everytime I hear this song I am drowned in the mindset of what non-christians really think. To me the 2nd stanza, "is your God..." is more of a question of what are you putting first. In the old testament alot of people worshipped false Gods and to this day even if you are an atheist, I believe if you put anything before God, it will become your God. I believe what cody is saying is I think our God isn't God because we have created our own idols. We have put things in front of God that weren't meant to be. Such as even time towards meaningless treasures of the earth. |

This song to me is a story. About a guy who was born into a bad home with no love. He had alot of hurt inside of him and he really thought he deserved more. So he looked in the wrong places (i was a pharisee) and he saw that he was wrong with his actions. The chorus to me says that we are glorious not because of what we've done but because of what Jesus has done for us. |

He's talking to his girlfriend back at home saying no one else will fight so i must. Telling her that im the only one that can save us. But then he shortly finds out that he can't do anything and its harder than it seems. Dennis told me. I used to play drums for them. |

This song is about an Alchemist who goes back in time to the 1400's to save his wife/or girlfriend from a disease that doesnt have a cure in this time. So then he goes back to try to find one. I used to play drums in this band and Dennis, the guy who wrote this told me. Yes, Alesana bases alot of their songs on Greek mythology. |

I dont think we should show off as christians. But i do believe that Jesus should show off through us. I believe when we do things we should do them as he would such as doing good works in our community and helping people with things because people will see christ in the actions and things that we do. I love this song. And i agree with most of what you guys say. |

God says not to conform with the things of this world. Meaning anything from it. I know that we all watch TV, i know we all listen to music and do things that are in this world but we are not to be of this world. Secular music is something that can change who you are just like any other thing. It can have an effect on your relationship with christ. Because that music is not uplifting to him. I strive to praise him in all that i do. And im not one to judge, i make mistakes as well. But let everything that enters you body be clean, for your body is the temple of the holy spirit.
In the bible, Jesus said to the man let the dead bury their own dead. Hes talking about the spiritually dead. And to me its like, dont let problems of the world get in your way from living a life for christ. Problems that everyday people go through should not be something that distracts you from God. He wants that relationship with you. And when we put other things like problems, instead of giving our problems to him we take them in our own hands and we mess up even more. Because 1. we cant do anything by ourselves and 2. God wants us to be with him and not to be worried about other problems. So yea. I said my 10 cents. God Bless,

This is a passage in the bible. John 8:7-12. The bible talks about how Jesus was writing in the sand with his finger and they began to question him.
