Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers – Start the Day Early Lyrics 16 years ago
As they put it during their show in Chicago in October at the Park West... "This song is about getting drunk."

I also can't help but imagine the cup being a bit of a sexual reference for women and the moonshine being well... you know. But overall its about drinking early in the day, a little liquid confidence, and a few references to the things that might happen while drinking.

do you seriously not know what atari is? it was the first video game system. Think pong and missile defense and old school games like that.

Sum 41 – Underclass Hero Lyrics 17 years ago
Heard this song on the radio last night. It certainly has the same energy I like from Sum 41 but they seem to be suck in the lame "being a high schooler in america sucks" mindset. I thought they would have matured in the past 5 years.

Also the guitar riff throughout the song is nearly identical to their song "Fat Lip" from All Killer No Filler. Listen to the first 10 seconds of each song, its unmistakable. Way to be creative guys...

Lucky Boys Confusion – Bossman Lyrics 18 years ago
I think part of the song is just about pressures of life and how getting high can take some of that away. The song says

"We’re stressed but getting high, it’s getting better
I wrote a thousand times couldn’t send the letter
On the last line I choked on this air I’m breathing
I’m all out of smoke"

After he says I'm all out of smoke there is a pause and he says "don't tell me it's alright" as if someone is now trying to talk sence into him. To me this is a part of the song where he sorta sobered up and is facing reality since he is out of pot. I think the bossman is probably just society, the police, parents, whoever pressures you. Anyone agree with me? and if so do you know what his problem is that he's trying to escape?

This is one of LBC's best... easily. I think it's just about a breakup where you don't give a shit. There was obviously a lot of fighting since 'My clothes are in the front yard' and 'you're threats won't hurt.' The singer really just is so fed up with the whole situation that he laughs about it... 'I gotta laugh/Thanks for the new selection/I got your dad's john tesh.' When I saw LBC in concert they introduced this song by saying "This song is about getting drunk and playing video games." I believe that's all they really meant by it. Sometimes life just gets to be too miserable so you just need to get wasted and play some old school Atari because you just don't care.
