I like the first comment, hahaha...truely a tribute to people who look WAY too deep into lyrics, or look for the slightest parallel with a break up. Why does every song have to be about break ups? really...
When I saw them with the Rolling Stones @ Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, Raine said "This song is about all of the people who will lie to you and only give you a cheap arrogant smile on their face as they look at you. This song is about politics and George W. fucking Bush" or something to that effect.

The song hasn't anything to do with religion. It may refer to the story of Lilith, but infact it's about AIDS and how it's killing millions all over the world. The people with AIDS then give birth to infected children and they can't survive. Raine has said this at OLP shows.

just because it's on punk goes acoustic doesnt mean its only acoustic, over it by rufio is in electric too.
but I digress, I think the song is about someone all hung up on a girl and he thinks the only way to forget about his love (possibly lost love or something) is to OD on drugs ("can I swallow this bottle whole to forget your face") |

Just thoughta bout something, "I went to your grave, duhg upyour body" [...]"poisons in stomach", now if this is a rape with roofies or she's pregnant and the "flesh decaying" is "man *residue*", what is he saying he did? He went into her room when she was sleeping and secretly took a piss sample and did a prego test and a drug test? and he needs male residue to prove...what?

You can't say it's a metaphor, just because there are things that can be interpreted different ways doesn't mean anything (interpret it in your way, but don't critisize people who take it literally and defend their opinion....you know who you are)
Anyways, honesty, if this is a metaphor, it fails at being a metaphor. Poison/flesh etc. can be taken in different ways, but look at the rest of the song, it just doesn't fit together that way.
If this is a metaphor for rape (as some suggested), what the hell does "How could she pull it, if she's dead?" or "It's not a suicide, it's a crime
I have a witness, it's clearly evident" or "I went to your grave, dug up your body
Brought it to my house, where you lay" or any of the operating references infact have anything to do literally or figuratively with rape? |

Lust a prima vista = Lust at first sight (if you don't use a literal online translator). It's a play on words obviously of the expression "love at first sight", except the song isn't about love, it's about a guy whos dating a girl who won't stop whoring herself out, but he can't leave her because he's addicted to her and has been since they met.
