The Fall of Troy – The Dark Trail Lyrics

In Guitar World magazine it said that 2 of Thomas's friends had died of heroin overdoses. So I don't know if it's Oxycontin or heroin that he's talking about.
And TFOTlover, I bought Manipulator at HMV. If no places around you sell it, just buy it off the glorious interweb. |

The Number Twelve Looks Like You – El Piñata De La Muerte Lyrics

On their website it says:
That was about a stepfather of mine who was a very physically abuse person and did a lot of fucked up things,” Korman offers. “He got deported back to the Philippines, so the song is about me going to the Philippines and torturing him with his own body parts—hanging him like a piñata and using his own limbs to split him open.” |

The Fall of Troy – Problem!? Lyrics

Hahaha, yeah thats awesome. I'm reminded of the part in House of Leaves when Johnny jerks off onto the one chick. I doubt thats it but since they have songs such as "the Hol[]y tape" and "you got a death wish johnny truant," I guess there's always room for one more more song with something about House of Leaves. |

Alright, I think its about a woman who gets in an accident, goes to the hospital, has a boyfriend and starts banging her doctor (or something) and then contracts a disease and dies. I dunno, its a start. |

Every Time I Die – Gloom and How It Gets That Way Lyrics

From the beginning you'd think this song is just about transportation but the end I have no idea. Oh and the part about hoofprints on the bow is kinda referencing that episode of the Twilight Zone I do believe. |

I love the lipstick scene, where dennis hopper mutters the chorus to him and has the weird hand position by his head.

Yeah, I know, they did a Split together but this one isn't even being performed Alexis on the disc. It's performed by Moneen. Thus, absolutely no relevance to Alexisonfire. |

Alexisonfire – Keep It On Wax Lyrics
|
I don't know if this is related to the song lyrics but the title comes from a saying among kids in 'da hood. Keep it on Wax means keep it on vinyl and not kill each other. And I got this from their message board and the administrator was the one who said it.
What I think it's about has been said before. It's just about friends. |

The Fall of Troy – You Got A Deathwish Johnny Truant? Lyrics
| 18 years ago

Yeah it seems like TFOT are pretty big House of Leaves fans. I think I read in an interview somewhere that Doppelganger was a concept album? I have no fucking clue what the concept is. All I can decipher is
Glass smile= See through smile= bullshit smile. |

Yeha, I saw an interview with them and Liam said this song is about relating hardcore music to graffitti. You do it because you love it not to make money. |

Alexisonfire – Counterparts And Number Them Lyrics

It's not meant to be understood. The thing I like about Alexisonfire is the way their lyrics make little to no sense (especially on the S/T). Even listen to Polaroids of Polarbears George is just listing off random things. |

Matthew Good Band – Born To Kill Lyrics

I think Overturned got part of it right. I think we are all born to have a place in society, "Born to buy into something." The "character" is "Born to kill". Or Matt could just be commenting on how murder is one of the most basic human functions. I don't know. |
