I really like the last phrase, its a good analogy as a fool is someone who accidentally/unknowingly makes an idiot of themselves whereas a clown intentionally and repeatedly does so for payment. |

"Carthago delenda est" is a latin phrase meaning Cathage must be destroyed (Carthage being an ancient african city). So the title would be carthage is destroyed.

for me, as someone who has lived with a close friend having depression, the song takes on a very personal stance
in the end especially the line "cause i'm just like you" instead of "am i?" shows when someone you love has killed themselves how you analyse your every thought and think could that be me? could i do that? by saying "I'm just like you" its admitting that you are like your friend, you do have the same feelings sometimes, you do get down but thats ok in a sense because it gives you a link o your friend |
