the whole kidnapping of a girl thing seems to make since with some of the lyrics, but other lyrics seem to be just random (the mask I found). But I really don't care what this song means that much because it is just so awesome and it is what first got me to like STP.
By the way, The DeLeo brothers of STP are now in a new band with former Filter frontman Richard Patrick called army of anyone. check them out if you like STP, there is a sample of their upcoming single on their website. |

this song has recently been released as a single. I was surprised when I had first heard it playing on the radio. However, that was a few months ago and I haven't heard it played on the radio since then. i don't think it charted yet either. It's a shame since its such a good song. |

To me, the song should be taken literally. Kurt had a bad experience as a young child. However, I could be wrong and it could have a deeper meaning. Nevertheless it is a good song. Only problem is that it gets stuck in my head all day sometimes because of the repetitive chorus, but that's not always a bad thing. |

I totally agree with N0 C0DE. I also don't always agree with pearl jam's political views. However, I can see where they are coming from and I also respect their opinion.
This song sounds so awesome and now I am sad because I have almost 2 more months to wait for the new album which is way too long to wait. Oh well, at least I have this and all of PJ's other songs to listen to until then. |
