i can't believe no one has commented this. BLUE OCTOBER IS THE BEST. this song is kind of difficult to interpret. it's going in so many different directions. My colors run in blue and gray But they give hope to someone dear my theory for that is that people expect things in black and white, but it can't always be that way, and sometimes it's better to see things in shades of gray. |

it's strange that the song is so mellow but the lyrics are so desperate and heartbreaking. i love the contrast and i'm probably reading into it too deeply, but it's like a huge oxymoron, like life is. it's kind of strange but i bet if half the artists mentioned on this site actually read these meanings they'd probably never thought of most of them. |
