These lyrics are actually talking about an American Soldier. What's really great about this song is it has the opposing view. They must not be talking about America (unless Audioslave has something against America) because: "Long days and nights you fought for truth Gotta hand it to you" Those terrorists are not fighting for truth. So it's obviously in the opposing point of view. |
