Dead Kennedys – Dreadlocks of the Suburbs Lyrics | 10 years ago |
@TolerantOregon: lol... I posted this comment nearly 6 years ago. Is your life really so devoid of meaning or purpose that you felt it necessary to comment so harshly? Shortly after I posted this (again, nearly SIX years ago), I did "search around" and found that it's from the Lost Tapes EP. So why is the comment still here? I can't delete it. Sorry if that so greatly offends you. :-) |
Dead Kennedys – We've Got A Bigger Problem Now Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Are you honestly that stupid? Jello Biafra is not a racist. I'm not even going to bother explaining why this is so to you. Suffice it to say, you're a moron. |

I'm pretty sure he doesn't say "write you a poem" in that one verse, but I have no idea what he says. Sounds like "while you burn" to me. |

Dead Kennedys – A Child and His Lawnmower Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Left out part of what I meant to type there: in the liner notes, there's a newspaper clipping which shows a man mowing his lawn, with the story printed below/near that. |
Dead Kennedys – A Child and His Lawnmower Lyrics | 18 years ago |
If you look closely at the original liner notes included with the CD that this song is featured on, this is about a true occurance of a man from Sacramento, California, who literally shot his lawnmower because 'it wouldn't start.' And he really was fined a little over 60 dollars for doing so. |
Bad Religion – Better Off Dead Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Here are the correct lyrics: I'm sorry about the sun, How could I know that you would burn? And I'm sorry about the moon, How could I know that you'd disapprove? And I'll never make the same mistake, The next time I create the universe, I'll make sure we communicate at length Oh, yeah But until then... Better off dead A smile on the lips and a hole in the head, Better off dead Yeah, better than this Take it away, 'cause there's nothing to miss I'm sorry about the world, How could I know you'd take it so bad? And I'll never make the same mistake, So, if you're looking for a patsy, why not try the entire human race? Just to play it safe But until then... Better off dead A smile on the lips and a hole in the head, Better off dead Yeah, better than this Take it away, 'cause there's nothing to miss Better off dead Yeah, better off dead Why don't you try pushing daisies instead? Better off dead Yeah, better off dead A smile on the lips and a hole in the head And I'll never make the same mistake, The next time I create the universe, I'll make sure you participate Oh, yeah And I'll never make the same mistake, The next time I create the universe, I'll make sure you participate Just in case |
Bad Religion – The Defense Lyrics | 18 years ago |
That last bit at the end of the song, I believe this is more accurate to what the background singers are saying: (No shame) Too much to sacrifice (No lies) It's hard to recognize (Just black) Just a compromise (And white) of purely deadly alibies (?) It's combinational (Design) The pressure so intense So I'll construct this sound defense |
