the soul is like an army rushing into battle. one part of you may have a "gash" in it, but don't let that get you down or even make you want to quit. remember, everyone has "gashes" and people still "battle on". if you want to put a spiritual slant to it, as the song does lend itself to: we are in spiritual warfare and we can't ever quit. look to others who have gone before you and those you are fighting alongside of (Hebrews 11-12) and realize that they were human just the same as you, and they didn't give up the fight. you shouldn't either. battle on... quite inspiring if you want my honest opinion. |
