the title gives away the meaning of the song as it is about how one may feel weak in real life but when you are in the nightclub and everyone is either mashed or wasted etc everyone is your best friend and your all seem together for this one night "weak become heroes." "coz me and you are da same
known you all me life i dont know your name" is a conversation with the average guy at the nightclub who you don't really know but becomes your best friend. Then the section "realise 5yrs went by and i'm older" symbolising moving time and how things never change and lifes still shit but you can still go to the club and experience a whole new life. This can be compared to Pulp's Sorted for E's and Whizz which gives off a similar idea. |
