First, it's "all my freinds are magazines". That being said, I think that the line is a metaphore for the how his freinds all read others ideas and then regurgitate the stolen ideas as their own...a sketchy move to say the least.
Next, "I got addicted to the word leave" I would say clearly is saying that he wants to be alone. This may be because he is wise to his freinds theivery. Reguardles he wants them out.
Then i think that "And they all request that you slow down, You’ve got to turn it around, And make a save" are the words of all his freinds. He is most likely alienating them in some way...maybe drugs, or maybe a girl. I think alienation is a major theme of this song. Ok, thats all I've got for now. |

I think this song is about this dude that breaks up w/ a chic for some bogus reason or vise versa, and the girl wants to go back but she has to much pride and doesnt want to lose face to her freinds, or anyone, who doesnt think they will get back together. But then a.c. is like make headlines belive them come back...cause he is a musical pimp...and neco case is hott. |

This is like my life anthem, so when i heard the lyrics were made up about nothing i wondered what my life was about. Personaly, i think this song means a hell of a lot, and furthermore the doves kick ass. |

This song is about a persons struggle w/ a drug addiction, and someones desperate attempts to get them to overcome it. The person in the song is out of control. The addict's life is coming undone and the father, freind...whatever is saying that they need to get out of that lifestyle. |
