The great thing about megadeth is that if the lyrics and singing fall short of time, they can fill the song with kick-ass solos and you get a great song. |

Oh and i must disagree..... Mustaine is an average guitarist, Cobain was below average, but his style went with the music better than anything anyone else could have done. But in technical ability he was below average, power chords and the solo was almost always the verse melody played on guitar. In my opinion Mustaine is only an average guitarist ( although he is MUCH better than myself)... Friedman, on the other hand, is a total virtuoso.
........and Cobain wrote good lyrics. |

But this is a board for Sweating Bullets, i just realized i need to shut the hell up.
Even though i was talking about technical ability, many of today's guitarists are superior to Page and Cobain- Zakk Wylde, Dimebag (RIP), Jerry Cantrell ( still making music although he and Cobain came out of the same era) but anyways.....

I just had to clear something up, people saying Page is such a great guitarist..... he has to be the most overrated guitarist ever. Friedman and Mustaine are very very technically sound and you won't hear anyone saying anything about them.
Yes Page was innovative, creative, and pretty damn good for his time, but he is NOT as good as people make him out to be! |

It is spelled Maiden, Iron Maiden, with an E.
You must have very little knowledge about anything on a guitar ( you probably listen to punk) this song and Dazed and Confused sound nothing alike and are in no way musically similiar, Megadeth did not rip off Led Zeppelin.
If you want to talk about ripping off, Dazed and Confused was an original song before you heard Led Zeppelin's version. Most people don't know this, Dazed and Confused in an UNCREDITED cover of the Jake Holmes original.
