sounds like hes really disenchanted with life. trying all the quick-fixes that society says will give you a "happy life" but knowing they won't fix the problem. maybe this song was spurred by heartbreak, or maybe its just a general feeling that comes about from being let down one too many times. either way, its a cool song. can't wait to see these guys at sasquatch. |

i kind of think its about trust like no one trusts anyone enough anymore to be able to fall in love sorta thing she says "keep one eye on the door" like, she's got to know how to get out of this relationship if something happens and the whole part about the doctor, the writer etc. is like you never know who anyone is these days because everyone is so afraid to show their true colors to anyone in case they get hurt well thats just my opinion... first time i heard it i thought it was about a prositute! haha but no thats what i think now.. |
