jekyll and hyde i think refers to a different personality when ur on x. i dont know any1 that has wit when their rollin on E. this song is about a guy on drugs and his friend/girlfriend doesnt know half the story of whats goin thru his mind. he wants to tell her but he cant seem to make her understand. i also think this is a scene that he runs over and over in his mind, don't think its actually happening in the present tense. the 2nd verse is describing how he thinks she might react cos obviously he cares about this person. listen to the first 3seconds he says "...it must be a big reaction" im sure other guys who are into drugs and is trying to explain himself to a girl he likes can relate very much. |

i think this song is about a person who has been mislead all his life and got duped into working for something he thought he believed in. after looking back is when he realized he fuckd up bad. i know how this guy feels even down to the dreams. i dont know about the boy who took X, that seems.. like a personal problem all on its own. just like the song. this song is one of my favorites comin from bloc party. it gets me thru the day when i dont wanna wake up. |
