Enter Shikari – Jonny Sniper Lyrics 17 years ago
I really like the idea of rou looking at how humans are destroying the earth and not respecting it at all whereas he wants to just contemplate and be all nature-boyish BUT

to me, it's as if he's looking through the eyes of jonny sniper himself (the condom guy)

"And I'll always be here for another.
Over and over and I'll always be here."

watching over young people? being there for them when they need him most..

"The screaming of the earth and I cant help but listen.
They're trying to entertain, but I can't help but..."

All the other aspects of earth are beautiful and relaxing but he can't help but listen out for people who are "entertaining" and who need him.

I think. :)

Paolo Nutini – Still Crazy Lyrics 17 years ago
I love this song soo much.
Means so much to me.
Especially right now. I know in my mind EXACTLY what it means and how he feels.

And it's quite bittersweet in a way.
It's moving on from an ended relationship, saying that you're not blaming the other person if they "shut you out completely".

You understand why they would, but you just want them to listen to you just one last time so you can tell them how much you loved them and how much they meant to you, but you never had the courage to say that to them at the time. And now you completely realise how much you did cause it's taken away from you.

It's a love that will never end. It will still be there deep inside you, but you forget about it; you bury it under and hide it in a corner because you can't correct your mistakes or take back what had happened.

It's hard.

Panic! at the Disco – London Beckoned Songs About Money Written By Machines Lyrics 18 years ago
and i think that is exactly what this song is supposed to say. personally i think they've written this as much for the critics as for the fans. they're saying, ironically "make us it, make us hip, make us scene". i think this is meant to mean that they're not "it" and they're not "hip" and they're not "scene" and they're not trying to be.

I think the verses are his conscious, and his thoughts talking to him. "keep quiet", and "if you talk you better walk you better back your shit up". basically it's a make or break point for the band and they don't care; he says to the critics if you don't agree with what we write, then "shrug us off your shoulders" or in other words, just leave us alone. going back to my first point, i think this is pointed at the fans as well.

its practically a song about their identity and who they are, their thoughts and what they are not (it, hip and scene). a song about a band in the making (well, P!ATD).

Panic! at the Disco – I Write Sins Not Tragedies Lyrics 18 years ago
that's quite plausible camisado11, but I think the groom is pacing only because of his nerves (due to the wedding that he's about to be a part of).

This is also supported by the fact that he seems quite surprised to hear that his wife is a whore as he explodes his anger and shock at the bridesmaid and waiter and then rethinks and says he should face it with "poise and rationality"...

System of a Down – War? Lyrics 18 years ago
OK, the armenian "genocide" never happened. it was merely the ottoman empire transfering the armenians from the country to syria and iran due to the situations in the first world war.

americans moved the japanese into internation camps and back to their home country during the war, no one said that was genocide.

in total, the armenians have NO evidence against turkey.turkey lost more lives than the armenians in the whole affair because of the armenian organised terrorist groups who killed and burned villages of women, children and men of all ages. it was war. in war you kill people. so what if they lost a few thousand men?!

so, this is a useless song about soad's useless and non-theorical, not prooved beliefs about the armenian "genocide". end of.
