I can see the connection to addiction, but I feel it's just about life...and the "struggle" associated with it. "So far" he's gotten by faking (could be love, could be life in general).
Perhaps the writer is speaking out to someone, wanting to let someone know how hard it is.

Definatley made XXX a better movie....which still sucked. I bought the DVD so I could see the video. Plus, the song is so damn catchy and rockin! Gavin's voice is very memorable. I remeber when I heard it while watching XXX......I thought, "What Bush song is this!?"....later to find out it's a solo thing. Great song! |

Seems to be about the writers experiences/memories as a young man, up to manhood and love. It's not easy to incorporate trains into a serious song! |

Demon Hunters website gives meanings for most of their songs. This one is definatley my favorite from them. I was pretty suprised to discover they're a Christian band, and there's nothing wrong with that. The accompaning vocals are perfect, and really make the song "boom". Great all-around alternative/heavy metal! |

Seems to me like the writer of the song is remebering his mother and her drinking problems. Every Christmas was a dissapointment, yet they still love each other. Her life is screwed up basically, and he wants to help her, but doesn't know what to do. I must say, the ending lines are a bit blurry. Kinda "off-key" if you ask me. |

Excellent song, just what I'd expect from Revis. I believe everyone is correct believing "7" represents the seven seals or signs discussed in Revelations (the Bible). The song is simply the writers worries/wonder about the End of Days and Armeageddon. |
