Metallica – (Anesthesia) Pulling Teeth Lyrics
| 17 years ago
|
ok, i didnt read all the posts, just the first couple, and if they all are like that, you guys are nuts. Cliff Burton ranks WAY up there on the greatest bassists of all time. Burton never used a pick, and used a standard 4 string bass. His work is sometimes mistaken for a guitar (the intro to For Whom The Bell Tolls for example), and is without a doubt one of the greatest of all time. He was a musical genious and everyone respected and listened to him. Metallica was influenced VERY much by Cliff, as he made them listen to many different genres of music. James was said to look up to Cliff, almost like he was his older brother, and Cliff taught him many things musically.
R.I.P. Cliff... |

yo ur such an idiot, or u might be just saying this to piss me off now... a boy named sue was another johnny cash song, so was ring of fire... im almost positive that everybody in marilyn manson's band took a name from a celebrity and a serial killer, and john paul jones was led zep's bassist, not their singer... their singer was robert plant and their guitarist was jimmy page... got anything else stupid to say? |

i hate it when every queen song has to be interpreted to mean something gay... if any other band were to have done this song, people would talk about anything else this songs means to them, but just because freddy is gay, and queen did it, people have to say its about something gay... |

i hate it when people try to relate every queen song to mean something gay... its so stupid, there are tons of songs by every other band out there where no one would say anything about it being gay, but if queen did it, people would talk about it meaning something gay.. |

i think it is about a relationship with a very beautiful person, and you want it to turn out perfect and you dream about it turning out perfect, but along the way you can tell it will turn out bad in the end; you really want the relationship to go well, but it just won't work... well thats one way i think it can be interpreted |

The Outlaws – Green Grass and High Tides Lyrics
| 18 years ago
|
this is an awesome song by a really cool band that you never hear about any more... none of their songs are played on any radio stations (at least not around here), and they deserve to be because they are a good band.
I really do not know what this song is about, but i would guess it could mean something about your own heaven and believing in it, and you just have to wait to get there... |
