i think tetragrammation is a shape with 10 sides representing each major religion. and their interpretations. i think in the song when they snuffed the demon. he never appeared.instead the demon changed forms into a big statue thing. like on the cover of the liner notes. but anyway. my main point is the tetragrammation. which decribes the formation of diatribes of 10 different religions. a shape has many sides. and any story has many sides. |

to me this just explains that stockholm is a very very loosely defined concept. people can find themselves in a situation where the one they love is holding them hostage. sort of a damned if you do damned if you dont situation. for example.....
you kick your child out onto the streets because they break the rules that you set in your household....but then you worry about them getting kidnapped and what not cuz suddenly your child is not home at curfew time. very intense and personally attaching song for me. |

i've never heard cocaine referred to as charlie...but i really wouldnt know...not one bit....if u ask me there are too many slang words for drugs really.
if i were you i would believe what anthony says the song is about. after all...he wrote it didnt he? and besides....if u see the performance of the little boy who played charlie in willie wonka and the chocolate factory...very very exuberant...possibly some sort of tie in there.

i think cedric is deaking us out on this song and the most obvious explanation is actually the real explanation..organized religion...it seems that cedric and omar are freelance believers and i think thats righteous and following one religion is just a winding road of empty promises but thats just me. i take the title of the song for instance....viscera..short of visceral..(also sounds better with eyes) is basically describing your impulses...more of a gut reaction that a conceived notion....and the eye is at the center of everything...like a hurricane in this instance...the human spirit the core of the human being...basically saying believing in a divine impulse zone is wrong...it gives you cataracts.....,well figurative ones anyway, over your real eyes and lastly use your head.....sure once you get up there its all very very complicated but dont just take the easy route.. |

great song....i think the translation is the keys to the song...being white and horrible at spanish i aint gonna do it but one discrepincy i noticed is in the 1st verse "they fold the shakes inside the third glass eye" and the second where they rot the shakes inside their glass eye.....no doubt that was intentional....in general on the surface...without the translation on hand i think this song is about religion making people ignorant...take the title for instance.....viscera is a reaction made out of instinct with no deliberation.....and an eye is at the center of everything...as in a hurricane but more as in the soul of a human being....basically saying there is no divine impulse in the human spirit...its just taking the easy route and use your brains people....not this supposed invisible eye...well thats my 2 cents peace out |
