But about the song, others have pretty much covered it but the person has finally completed this mental wall to isolate himself from the world, but he maybe decides he wants at least a little contact with the outside world but cant seem to find it. "But it was only a fantasy The wall was too high as you can see No matter how he tried he could not break free And the worms ate into his brain." He couldnt get over "the wall" and come in contact with someone outside it. So the "worms ate into his brain. it could mean he died alone sorta. or what i think makes a little bit more sense, is that , if you watched PF's movie "The Wall", it sorta refers to "the worm[s]" as the thing that brings ou to insanity or is like a "brick", making you come closer to insanity [the judge for example "good morning, worm your honour..."] But than again, id think hed already be insane, or atleast almost insane if he built a wall for himself. i dont know, i hope that made sense, sorry if i said what it think it meant wrong.... |

| Well, first off, njrockstarbandit, i think you should probably know more about the song before you start posting that its about homeless people, because it isn about that. and also, you probably shouldnt be sayinf YOUR opinion about how many time people can listen to it at a time before they get sick of it, because I actully can listen to it over and over forever and never get sick of it, or any other Floyd song for that matter. but thats my opinion. | |
