"I think I grew a grey (hair) watching you procrastinate"
He's frustrated that everyone is procrastinating their personal shift in consciousness and not waking up to see whats REALLY going on in the world around them...
"You've been raised in limitations"
(Government controlling everyone through education, propaganda and the media, poisoning our freaking food, etc etc)...
"Choose a new, please evolve Take flight"
He's trying to tell us that we are still in control of our (The Earth's) destiny (what will happen on 2012 AD) but if we keep procrastinating it wont be what we want (many people will die). So choose a new fate, one where we EVOLVE as a human race and stop all war, hate, and violence and TAKE FLIGHT into a place of love, peace, and unity (possibly talking about The Rapture but not in a religious kind of way. more along the lines of new age/benevolent ETs)
This is what this song means... Check out their songs "Warning, Out from under, Earth to bella, and so many more.) |

Dude, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SAYING WHAT NEEDED TO BE SAID!!! After hearing this song for the first time again after learning about all the NWO & 9/11 shit I realized what it was really about. I was hoping at least one other person had made the connection by now. Pretty much this whole CD is about rising against the government and thinking differently... MAKING YOURSELF. Everyone please go back and listen to every word of this album with that in mind and you'll see the real message. Check out dumptruck's comment on Earth to Bella on this site...
Oh and also, pretty much the entire album Transistor by 311 is about this too... Listen & learn
