To be a business man, a doctor, a rapper, a executive, or any profession, you have be a carpenter. You have to be able to start from the ground up and advance as you learn the basics. This song does have a meaning yall just in case you dont know what hes talkin about. He's talking about his spirit, his motive, his beliefs, and his determination for revolution. That spirit that lies within him is what is causing all the havoc that you hear in sayin like... the government took nazi scientists from germany to design nuclear rockets, and ways of observing me cuz their pathetic attempts didnt work to murder me when this country was concesed, bastards never heard of me but now i hold the souls of slave masters eternally bleeding internally, burgundy, during surgery verbally cuz im a spirit to it, devils are incompatible i been around since the planet was inhabitable i spit in the ocean and created microscopic animals which evolved into two species, the righteous and the cannibals The way he thinks and the way he looks at the world is what separates the good from the bad, the riders from the punks, the right from the wrong, and the real and the fake. Im surprised that yall havent posted nuthin on this because it really is a very intriguing song. You kinda have to listen to the song before it on the album but if you just listen to whats going on you should have no problem comprehending the message. The earth is going through a nuclear holocaust and these are perspectives of 4 different people and their final thoughts and actions taken before they are dissolved by the bomb. Basically views of 4 people who are already dead. Brilliant song and very scary to some viewers. Very bold move my Def Jux. I love it. COP THE ALBUM. I PHANTOM by Mr Lif. Its classic. This song slanders the industry. Think about it. Sage uses a female in this song because females were limited to what they could say a while ago too, (Slavery, Woman Civil Rights, Salem Witch Trials) and now these self absorbed A & R's that could give 2 fucks about Hip-Hop are doin the same thing to artists that men did to women, revoking their god-given rights to justice and freedom. This woman represents a product that is used to find new ideas. So as she listens to the radio stations and hears the same thing that seems to amuse her, she uses them, recycles the scheme, and uses it for money and that leads into the line Her favorite radio station's a permanant paid vacation Burning her face in the sun (the spotlight of fame) So as she learns how to dance for the money like artists do today, she becomes a custom to following directions.
