Absolutely beautiful, the thing that first captured me about A Fine Frenzy was she has one of those realistic voices, like..she's not trying to be "perfect" like these other singers, she doesn't really flaunt her voice, she puts a lot of emotion into her song with a realistic tone which is beautiful might I add. I personally think the song speaks for itself but everyone has their own views upon lyrics. I'm looking forward to hearing more from A Fine Frenzy. |

Instead of fighting like idiots about West and Daft Punk, why not sit back like mature people and take a look at the meaning. When I listen to this tune, I feel like he's talking about how Rap/HipHop has gone to hell, all of the posers and fakes taking an age-old genre and turning it into bullshit, with the dope, money, big asses, cars and "gangsta". These new artists have really destroyed the genre. Something that the Beastie Boys latest album and this song have in common is they seem to talk about how these "gangsta" idiots are destroying the genre that the originals helped create and introduce to the world. I may be wrong, but I may not be.. the only way to know is ask West himself. Also, just because I can, I believe if Daft Punk found this song to be a disgrace to their recording, they wouldn't have helped with the production. Ponder on that for a while before acting childish. |

Well, coming from a lady who loves misfit bands..and no I don't mean the band Misfits....Misfit is an actual word on it's own: http://www.dictionary.com/ . Anyhow, I bought the album yesterday and amazingly I listen to every song on the album, usually with the albums I buy, I usually just listen to three, maybe four at the most.. even with my favorite band(s) albums, so it's kind of new for me to actually listen to a full album and actually enjoy all of the songs. Chris Daughtry has a good thing going for him, let's hope his music continues to impress atleast a small population of people. While others cry and moan about who wrote what, I look at it this way, get over it.. even if the lyrics suck some major longhorn, atleast the music is good =), which I currently enjoy both, tyvm. |

Actually, this song is about Three things, if you think about it. I believe, originally, the song was meant to be about a woman. Possibly noting that she kind of......drives him nuts. It's also been noted that this song has been used to describe various cars, yes....Car's, the big things that go vroom vroom. Also, some people think that it's actually about a shotgun, it would make sense, shotgun, black, boom boom, bambalam. Either way, Spiderbait did a near perfect cover of this song. |

This song IS one of Megadeth's better tracks.. As for the meaning, a meaning of this scale can be interpreted however one see's it.. I find the arguing over the meaning quite immature. I feel the meaning has to do with both a political rise of power and quite possibly the Antichrist. Now, let's have a lesson shall we? The Antichrist DOES NOT have to be a human, some in the latest generations believe that the antichrist is already upon us.....that antichrist is what we're using now.. Technology. If you listen to this song and exploit it with true intellect rather than just listening and headbanging.. you will find that it MAY be about the rise of human's creations, which will indeed my dear friends be our ending. We're in the stages of our own creations, technology..becoming smarter than we are. One year.. machines will infact take over and become the dominant breed.. we, be our fate as pets or slaves..I would vote for being a pet. Megadeth threw in a line about robots for one particular reason, it's been easy to see since the late 70s that man is on a course of self-extinction due to our creations.. it may seem like something from a science fiction movie, but believe me, every bit of it is true. Scientists are working on a prototype A.I. or Artificial Intelligence, it's a prototype simply because it's smarter, and faster learning than the A.I. that we have already created. There have been a number of rumors and even facts that Government's from around the globe has had conferences about their concerns of this new A.I. it's actually no secret to the public, you just have to be smart enough where to find your information. The new A.I. is rumored to be the most advanced technology civilization has seen since the first G.C.N.C. otherwise known as the first Global Connection Network Computer's which ultimately changed the course of technology, allowing people from around the globe to contact one another in less than a second. The new A.I. is also believed to be more sensative, meaning it can and will learn at an accelerated rate, it could possibly even learn emotions.. such as hate, love, or even the simple emotion of jealousy. There has also been a number of reports concerning scientists giving future A.I.'s the ability to reproduce, otherwise known as breeding. If this happens my dear friends, it's over for the human civilization, if they give A.I.'s these abilities, with a massive scale of intelligence.... we will infact witness the rise of the true antichrist, and rest assured.....it's no mythical or biblical being, it's something of our own creation. |

The version of this song in Halo is actually more of a REMIX..any ordinary person is smart enough to realise this little fact. The song is from Breaking Benjamin's ALBUM. NOT Halo, so.. be mature enough to set your little videogames to the side and add to the MEANING of the song, NOT the origins or what little cruddy video game it was on. The original artist(s) of this song was Tears for Fears, the FACT. is.. Gary Jule turned this song into PERFECTION. I understand this song is from the Donnie Darko soundtrack. But, it's also on Gary Jules very own ALBUM. So, I'm not going to include Donnie Darko in my discussion (sorry if I offend any fans). In a sense, each time I hear this song I vision a small group of soldiers just sitting around a fire. The words would explain everything their feeling and/or everything their remembering, if you ponder on it....it begins to make sense, I would think every soldier has wanted to write home and tell their family that the dreams in which their dieing is infact the best they've ever had, I would rather die then to be caught and/or tortured by an enemy. But, if you really open your mind.. it does make sense from a soldier's point of view, or a firefighter or even a police officer. Now, as for this song getting noticed, Donnie Darko did a good job, but the ultimate theme that is getting this song noticed, is Gears of War. BTW, Merry Christmas and Happy Newyear. |

I would have to agree with you, Stackle. I've been in a few situations where people look or come to me for answers all the time and it kind of makes me feel like their putting all of their faith into me. It does get quite overwhelming. I can't say I actually believe in God, I believe something higher then us is out there.. but I don't believe in anyone's God, for all we know.. human religions could be wrong. As for the song once more, I've listened to it more and more, I'm beginning to think that maybe a lot of people depend on him or the person he's singing about so much.. but he doesn't want to be their God. This song can be taken in any way humanly possible.. if you read or listen to it with an open mind.. it has the makings of a break-up song, a way to tell someone to bluntly fuck off, or it can be taken in a spiritual manner, or normal every-day problems. I don't think anyone can say for sure, the only one who can. Is Corey or the entire band of Stone Sour. |

I would highly suggest, sexmonkey.. that if you are indeed going to talk a little smack and pretend that you know everything, as I stated before, I highly suggest, you learn to spell before you do so, it actually might work. Otherwise, this song, ANY song for that matter can be taken into context and twisted around so many bends people can completely destroy or improve the meaning. In other words, to different people, it has different meanings, the only way you get the TRUE meaning is to talk to Corey or who ever wrote this one. :) |

| If I remember correctly. in Slipknot it was Corey Taylor, Chris Fehn and Shawn Crahan doing most of the yelling/screaming what ever you prefer to call it. if you see them LIVE Corey Taylor tries to do it but he sounds like a girl screaming..in experience....the ones with the deepest screams are Chris Fehn or Shawn Crahan, they are usually the ones who do back-up vocals. Personally. I hate Pussycat Dolls, I've been and most likely always will be into metal and rock. The only thing I can not deny about the Pussycat Dolls is simply their unique style of music, the rhythm of the songs like Beep, Buttons and Don't Cha are very unique, the most unique is Buttons. In my time of being a straight 'A' Music Slut, I've never heard anything this unique since Eurythmics or possibly Collide. the Pussycat Dolls, no matter who produces the music, they are very good indeed, in my personal opinion. the Pussycat Dolls should dis-continue singing and go with creating Instrumental music, then they may earn the right to be welcomed onto my CD collection. Otherwise, they aren't bad for the Genre they are in. but, I will only pay credit where credit is due. And the credit most definately goes to the music, not their singing. |

"Crouched over, you were not there living in fear" on this part he could be talking about his passed and telling someone that they didnt go what he went through "but signs were not really that scarce obvious tears" confusing but i believe hes saying the signs that were shown to him he didnt fear them because he didnt think whatever happened could... "but I will not hide you through this I want you to help and please see the bleeding heart perched on my shirt" he could be saying that he wont hide them in the dark anymore and that he finally wants someone to help him through a hard time... "Can you break hearts?" every one knows what this means but, in the song it means something else, in wars people lose loved ones often thus "Can you break hearts?" now, "Can hearts speak?" possibly meaning acting out in revenge or the heart "feelings" taking over and trying to do the right thing. "Can you torture hearts?" basically same as the first only when it comes to torturing a heart, losing one loved one is hard enough, so you can only imagine. | Agreed with Music_Psycho, my father also left when I was 2, when my mother moved to the states with us, he tagged along but soon left afterwards before my 3rd birthday, he went back to the UK and never heard from him since, so this song means a lot to me aswell, Lindsay Lohan has done something no one else ever has in American Music Industry, she made a song of family problems instead of whining about not getting laid by someone, no one else could ever make this song as well as Lindsay Lohan has, her vocals are beautiful, I personally am not a Lindsay Lohan fan, but this song most definately catches my feelings and my interests. | |
